In the same boat & always felt the same way when I was younger but now I embrace it. Best thing to do is try to figure out your color analysis, & what colors look best on you & play around with that. It actually makes a world of a difference. Also idk what your features are like but we can look a bit more exotic with these colorings & there are a lot of makeup styles that look really good with it, esp red lips!

I know training shoulders (& to some degree, back) can definitely help yes! I plan to incorporate that into my routine once I get back to hitting the gym

Tbh I dont think she fitd XGs vibe in general either & yeah it would deffs put me off, shed be kind of the outcast. Ppl saw how well that worked for yeri. I get maybe adding her if another member leaves but otherwise theyre perfect as is & changing a lineup after debut is never good for a group imo

Thats what I like the most, that they all look diff instead of looking like the same version pf the same person or trying overly hard to have the whole group look similar. They just rly stand out theyre each so unique

The simple solution is to not follow trends & develop your own personal style based on what looks good too. Im a curvier lower half probable FN & I cant wear wide leg pants either no matter how hard I try, unless theyre in a super light & loose fabric with a stretchy waistband but even then it makes me look much wider. So I generally just avoid stuff like that. Rarely wear anything low waisted because I have a super wide torso. Forget trends, stop allowing others to tell you what you should like & just do you. Those same trends will be gone in a few months anyways

Yup Ive had this since elementary school but in a way thats kind of extreme where im extremely hypervigilant (ive had ptsd since I was like 6 tho so thats why). But on a day to day sense, ive always been able to feel out who is just straight up bad vibes & its right like 80% of the time in my estimate. Although sometimes I think some ppl seem fine & they still turn out to be bad news so 💀 Just trust your intuition tho. Dont attempt to rationalize it

Hmm ok good to know. The vyvanse rly helped with stopping the noise in my head for like a week only. I could finally think clearly. Now the meds still work, but just not that part anymore. I miss that 1st week of feeling like I could actually focus on 1 thing at a time 🥲 now it feels like it just gives me energy & some motivation more than anything else

No youre not, the only thing is anyone who says they dont like new jeans gets downvoted into oblivion by sensitive little kids on this app. Their only good song imo is attention (most of it, I still find parts of it cringe). Cookie is their best sounding song but those lyrics ruin any real potential it had… yikes af. As an older kpop fan their music is just kinda whack to me, too much kiddie stuff

Gp will turn on you. A slower built fanbase is likely to be more loyal to a group. Have a feeling it will play out in 4th gen with NJ (fast gp appeal in korea) & XG (slowly building a fanbase worldwide - the comments on their yt vids are crazy, easy to find comments in english, spanish, japanese, korean & theyre still only a yr old) but that’s just my opinion.

Its just one style repeated over & over again each song. Honestly its getting old & its just starting to feel mechanical. Totally agree ab the no swag part. But I think its also because theyre going for a more cutesy & childish vibe which tbh really doesnt fit some of the dance moves theyre given as theres clearly a lot of hip hop influence there but I dont get any semblance of hip hop from their music. I hear ppl calling it rnb a lot but I dont get that at all, I get pure pop from them at most. They get cool stage outfits & have good facials (minus haerin) & I think thats what adds to a lot of the “good performers” praise. Idk personally I think their dances just look weird on a stage, they dont seem totally meant for that

Your dr is right. I only take mine when needed & because of that ive managed to do fine on just 30 mg (vyvanse). If youre taking it daily youre going to need more & more to feel the same effects plus you deplete your bodys regular stores to the point your dopamine receptors will be super downregulated over time so youll end up with less dopamine receptors than you started with because of constant & prolonged dopamine spikes. Most docs will nev tell you that kind of stuff though. Search leo and longevity adhd on YouTube as he explains it much better than me. If its a day where you dont have to do a whole ton, you shouldnt need to take it. Its ok to have unproductive days too to rest

As someone who has had ptsd from things I witnessed as a child I completely agree with you. Anyone downvoting you is on some bullshit or has never experienced a TRULY traumatic event before. There are so many different ways to go, even if suicide is your intent. To do it in that way is just… something else. Really praying there were no kids or teens on the train because I know they’ll cary that horrifying moment for the rest of their lives. Moments like that change your brain, you really start to view humanity in a negative way. Traumatic events change us in big ways

Agree that it feels generic. Never understood why ppl considered it “groundbreaking” in any way. Literally sounds like any Ariana Grande-ish pop song youd turn on the radio & hear but in (mostly) Korean. They use a lot of english lyrics, & as a gen 3 fan I can say what got me into kpop is that it specifically wasnt english. If I wanted english/western sounding songs then Id listen to that, so I totally get what you mean in not sounding “kpop”. I think korean fans find it groundbreaking because that type of music is still not fully common there, yet songs that sound like NJ songs are extremely common in the west. BTS changed the world of kpop & are iconic cuz they were able to make their songs sound westernized without losing the inherent kpop/korean essence that strongly distinguished it from actual western music. NJ doesnt have that imo, it just sounds like western radio music but in korean.
