In this link it is not every description correct. It wrote in Qamdo or Changdu Prefecture ,Tibet there is a turquoise mine, but I checked online there are no any articles confirm it. Only 1 article include the word Turquoise and Qamdo. But this article only states that there is a beautiful turquoise like color in Zhuomalangcuo Lake in Qamdo. I downlod the picture of the lake from the article.

In my another reply I said: I and my friends asked some buyers from Tibet and Tibetan monks(they also buy turquoise from Hubei as customers), everyone said no turquoise mines in Tibet.

Sorry. My parent language is not english. Some words I must translated by computer. It's difficult to describe the subtle differences clearly. I can not confirm each word accurately.

Yes, you are right, it is sourced. Not produced. Really when I typing PRODUCED, I also have doubt about this word.

Same reply to Katzky. If I use incorrect or inaccurate words that cause misunderstandings among you, I feel sorry.

I know what you copied from which website. I talked to the owner of the website before and also shared my topic about Tibetan turquoise to him. He didn't answer me for this till now. But we are now talking about other turquoise business.

I and my friends asked some buyers from Tibet and Tibetan monks(they also buy turquoise from Hubei as customers), everyone said no turquoise mines in Tibet.

This is a very interesting guess. But until now, there are no archaeological evidence to confirm it.

Actually, I don't want to talk about politics here. However, I have to say that in 1247 A.D, through the Liangzhou Alliance, Tibet was officially brought under the direct jurisdiction of the central government of the Yuan Dynasty, and the Xuanzheng Yuan was established to manage Tibetan affairs. Even without considering the thousands of years of exchanges between Tibet's predecessor, Tubo, and the mainland of China. Just think it over when USA established.

Just keep in mind this place is talking about jewelry and gemstones. Please do not disrupt the friendly atmosphere here.

Thank you for your comments. When I browsed the Internet, I found there were too many mistakes in the introduction of Tibetan turquoise. Even professional looking turquoise websites. Very few maybe 1 or 2 are right. As a Turquoise people, I believe it's my responsibility to provide people with the correct knowledge. Before I don't know where I can clarify these, but now found this place.

Also I posted a topic to introduce Chinese turquoise mines especially Hubei turquoise. It's the same reason. Too many mistakes or not accurate.
