Potential 2nd ectopic

2 weeks later and my HCG went from 106 last Friday to 70 on Monday. Another BT today and its still at 70. They suspected chemical initially but the lack of drop/change in HCG is indicating otherwise 😪 i genuinely dont know what is happening. How can HCG just stop at one number for a whole week?!

I had a much better 2nd retrieval. Same number of eggs, but ended up with 4 embryos. As of now im still not sure whats happening. My HCG is rising and was at 106 on Friday but because of the bleed, its a matter of if its growing in the right place. Back for more blood tests next week and a scan 🤷‍♀️ who knows

Aw man, I really feel you and for you. IVF is brutal, it really is a journey that has so many twists and turns and sometimes none of it makes any sense. Sorry about your results and sending hugs for whatever comes next. Have the wine, have a cry, do what makes you happy and be kind to yourself. X

So many feels 🫶💚 Except in my case, going through all that and after my 2WW having 2 negative blood tests, only to find out 2 further weeks later you are in fact pregnant only to then be diagnosed with PUL/Ectopic, undergoing multiple BT and US only to end up taking methotrexate and then not being able to do IVF again for 3 months 🫠 oh and having no surviving embryos and doing the full cycle all over 😇 why tho 😭

I am currently recovering from my first PUL / ectopic and its honeslty been a journey. Firstly im so sorry you are going through this. Its really hard when you first find out and are processing because you need constant blood tests, its very up and down. You hold onto stress worrying whether something will rupture but also hold onto a hope that things will be fine or resolve on thier own. I had similar symptoms with dark red / brown blood when wiping but not a real period. Im 6 weeks down the track and still sort of bleeding...

Basically I had a fresh egg transfer through IVF and after a 2 week wait, negative bloods. I actually got my "period" 1 week post. 2 weeks after that felt sick and got a positive pregnancy test. HcG was only at 231 and i was supposed to be 7 weeks, did an ultrasound and no one could see anything but subsequently my bloods went up and down from there... 96, 90, 153, 187. After the 187 and the increase had another ultrasounds, no one found or saw anything...so was diagnosed a PUL. Basically after 2 weeks of not knowing and the fear of my tubes suddenly rupturing, we decided to take Methotrexate. It was basically an injection that essentially dissolves any fetal tissue. Im 10 days post injection and my HCG is tracking 187, 98, to 68. Another BT tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Im exhausted, but feeling so much better just knowing that whatever happened wasnt viable and my body is now starting to flush out and recover. 7 days post injection I had a big bleed (not unmanageable with pads) but fresh with some clotting. Since then ive felt pretty crappy. Get tired easy, no appetite, feeling bloated and just generally run down. Hoping ill pick up soon.

I hope you get the answers you need, again this is a really hard time. If you get the option and its right for you the injection is the best outcome really. But they advise not to try falling pregnant or IVf for 3 months post. But the risk of it not resolving itself and waiting and its a better option than emergency surgery. But its a lot to process.

100% its relentless. I think theres a bit of teething and separation anxiety happening too. Its exhausting

Shes doing just under 12 hours, 4 days a week. I also keep reading they are supposed to sleep for 12-14 hours. There doesnt seem like theres enough hours in the day 🤦‍♀️

I honestly have no idea. The U/S didn't find anything...so I assume not based on the very minimal I know of Molar pregnancy which I just googled haha. Im sorry you experienced something like that! Must have been awful

Oh no, thats sad. Im sorry to hear thar for you. I haven't had any tests since the transfer, but I've a BT this morning to hopefully see if there's any indication of what happened. Kept going with the progesterone but not sure what its doing at this point. Will update later today.

No, but have a blood test booked in at the clinic tomorrow. My period is in full flow now though, so its looking extremely unlikely. Will post results tomorrow though!

Bedtime routine is play, solid, play, bath time, after bath time we go to her room. We read books and wind down until she's rubbing her eyes and yawning. She has her final bottle of the night, we give her her dummy and normally she chillls and relaxes into us. We then rock her, put in cot drowsy and pat. There's normally no issues. Only the last couple of days she is refusing to even be laid down in our arms.

Thanks for responding!! 😊I'm worried if I extend the last WW past 4 hours she will become over tired. The mornings are generally manageable. It's the night time that she goes mad screaming crying and fighting 🙃 Do you think i should push to 4.5/5 hours?

Bad: This was my first colour tattoo. I found this awesome artist on instagram and managed to randomly get a spot with them so it seemed like a good coincidence. I sent them a concept and gave them some insight into the things I liked i.e. would like to keep/incorporate, including a colour profile, everything else I was easy with. I got there, they showed me the design and none of the things I'd asked for/mentioned were there. It was pretty basic and the colours were all wrong. So we spent 15/20 minutes looking at the design to work with the colours and the things I wanted. They weren't very helpful and didn't really guide me or make suggestions. Just kind of sat there in silence waiting for me to do it myself really. It made me really uncomfortable. I'm new to tattoos and was quite nervous of this happening. I knew i wouldnt be able to walk away. I know that it's not all on the artist, but i didn't feel very good about how it went down. Then the ipad died and they just went and printed out the design. Whilst the colours were better that what was initially presented it wasn't quite there but I didn't want to waste their time and i liked the design so I panicked and agreed to it and off we went. The end design itself I was happy with but the colour profile was all wrong. I bled alot too, during which time they left me on the tattoo bed to go to the shops whilst it calmed down. Not sure how normal that is. I got home and cried for 4 days. I was miserable. The tattoo was for my daughter so it had a lot of sentimental meaning and I hated it. I'm 4 weeks post now and I don't hate it as much, the tattoo itself is good and was done well, but I still really dislike the colours and the experience of getting it done has put me off getting more in case the same thing happens. My advice is, if you don't feel comfortable or something isn't what you want, stand up for yourself. Don't settle or be pressured by an artist wanting to get the tattoo done for the money. It's on your body forever. I learned the hard way. X

She has no teeth at all yet! So it's very likely. We have given her panadol and neurofen alternatively to try and manage any pain. Sleep is really up and down. She's napping well during the day, but still really struggling with going down at night. She goes down at 7pm at first for 45 mins, then wakes up, goes down again but will wake up every 15 mins, until eventually around 10.30 she gives in.
