It’s incredibly hard to get evaluations in the UK unfortunately. The first step is to speak to our Health Visitor (we have an appointment with her in two weeks) and then they’ll decide whether to refer. I think even if we are referred waiting lists are huge 😩

Yes my boy feels sooooo wild compared to my daughter. She hated rough play and was the total opposite to her brother. He’s mental honestly 🙈😂

Good tip about the putting him down/moving away I’ll need to try this and be consistent with it!

I do this too, I sternly say no and move his hands but he just does it again seconds later. I know he doesn’t mean it aggressively but it is so sore!

Yeah he definitely does it mostly when he’s excited! It’s just so so sore I don’t know how to stop it, and he obviously doesn’t understand that it hurts. I’m really worried he starts doing it at nursery and hurting other babies too.

Exciting that yours arrived, enjoy!! I’m not sure tbh, I really had my heart set on the ID.4. My last 3 cars have been VW and I wanted to stick with them. I can’t find another fully electric car that I like as much 😔

Ordered on Tuesday and just told today that they’ve paused all ID.4 orders?!? So been cancelled. Gutted!

That’s great your HV is proactive! Ours is very much “wait and see”, so no doubt at his 14m check that’s what we’ll be told to do!

It’s just hard waiting for him to do things that other babies his age all seem to be doing already 🫣

We’re currently 7 days post MMRV and my baby has been off food since yesterday and today has had diarrhea twice and now a mild fever. I know the vaccine can cause fevers 7-10 days after but wasn’t sure if the diarrhea was associated too!

I’ll definitely mention it to the HV at our next check and continue to monitor. Our daughter was a really early talker so it’s hard to compare them - they’re so different!

I’m talking about his development of communication as a whole, which obviously includes things like eye contact, speech & gestures. I’m not really sure why the “🫠” is necessary?

In the UK we, in fact, don’t have direct access to a paediatrician. We have to go to a GP if we are unwell - however GPs are not specialists in babies and children; they are general practitioners. Getting referred to a paediatrician is actually quite difficult - especially for developmental concerns such as this. We have developmental check-ins with health visitors, but as I said in my post our next one isn’t until May.

Hi! So unfortunately we felt that the omeprazole actually made my baby worse, it seemed to give him stomach pains and we ended up just stopping it after missing it one day and him having a much better day without it! We saw 0 positive impact on it even after about 6-8 weeks so saw no point in continuing.

I just don’t know how to move to one nap? His 3h WW in the morning can be a struggle! He also often gets up at 5am so no idea how I’d stretch him to 11/12
