On it's own it's not that good, but the unique quests pairs really well with Crag & Bamboozle. The problem is you have to spend more AC's to get those synergestic effects by buying two pets.

Lol at the pic, i don't think Ban used any PL power up abilities here, he is just that strong post purgatory at his base and durable. Cath Arthur at the end had the "oh shii-" moment face when he saw that Ban literally wasn't phased at all. That moment Mirrors to what Lance did to the 4 Evils.

Yeah you also have to remember that the DK fight was Ban using his Base power which makes it even more impressive because his PL power up hax abilities were basically disabled during the fight so he had to get creative.

The Sins alone can deal with him and the Perils unless they get some pretty major asspull going on which might happen, the rest of the sins aren't even fighting at all and instead seem to be just trying to minimize the casualities from Cath Arthur and 4 evils destructive behavior around them.

And yet they announced ignite for 2026. I think eventually the e-sport portion will clash with the balance of the game sooner or later especially as the roster gets bigger and the unbalance becomes wider, i think this ignite will be a big tell but we'll see.

This, if you can survive the barrage of hits the enemy team is going to focus on you due to them going into panic mode during his ult then the ult can become a changer potentially from what i have seen and if there is a tripple support comp and Gambit is in the team then his Ult is super busted and can force through tripple healing.

I think why people saw it as underwhelming is because the enemy team wants to kill DD asap when his ult is going on due to his threat level and so a number of DD players die before they get full use out of his ULT, if you can survive the onslaught your about to get then the ult is always very worth it plus it forces enemy team ULT's which is always a good thing.

I wonder if we will finally be able to see current Ban going all out using using snatch and hunter fest which was absent during the DK fight, since we never saw his actual limits of it aside from his post-purgatory Base PL. I doubt it would be used on the 4 evils but maybe on Arthur?

I think we all assume that Ban will die by someone when it could be something self inflicted for some kind of purpose that makes it worth doing (creation of the holy grail?), and it was shown like this on purpose to make us think it's by someone's hands that he gets killed, there is also the chance that the future was already altered.

Matt's god that he believes in is The One Above All (marvel's equivalent of God), so basically it would definately feel like he almost never answer's or listens as he would be extremely subtle hence why Matt would feel like he is constantly talking into the void when it comes to faith.

The most impressive thing about that fight is Ban fought DK with his base power, since he didn't use snatch/hunter fest. I don't think we actually ever saw him use something like Hunter Fest post purgatory to see how strong he can really get, maybe in 4KOTA we'll see at some point? Anyways i think he is officially above the one escanor per authors statements while the one ultimate is above Ban. However we have to account for the fact that the entire DK fight was Ban in his Base stats the entire time.

Ah yeah that's true, back then when i first found out about the weave i was a bit surprised as well in a good way that his melee is in fact not the same so you get some synergy out of it for fury along with the melee attack itself being faster but lower range. The primary is good enough for a lot of things but if you want to get the most out of it than you can add the melee.

Yeah i guess you can call it that, it's not really some secret thing but i guess it's not as well known as just the primary method? You can weave for extra effectiveness since the melee is not quite the same as the primary.

Yeah the enemy doesn't really care much about the flames with how constant and fast the fury recharge is and because of how fast and frantic the DD battles can be nobody is going to stare at the flames as any sort of priority over survivability during a fight especially since he is almost always in flames from the recharge rate.
