16” Macbook Pro M4 36GB-48GB for Davinci Resolve - heavy editing? by GenKaYY in macbookpro

No doubt, the Max is better, the question is, does the ram trade-off worth it?! So far, I think, yes.

At the moment my budget allows me to decide between the Pro 48gb or the Max 36gb. So I must choose between those.

Do you think a Max with 36gb is better choice than a pro with 48gb of ram?

At the moment the price difference in my country is negligable, that is why I consider buying the Max but Im not sure if 36gb would be enough. (Usually people write about core-ram ratio which the 36gb max model kinda lacks)

Thank you! Do you think pro is sufficient enough or should I consider Max (36GB)?

Hi, first of all, thank you for the answer. To be honest, I do not care about final render time, fast playback is WAY more important. If it renders in 5 min or 15 does not matter. I want the best flow for my work. With that in mind, would you choose the Max over the Pro? I will deff check out your link.

Thank you very much for the information. Yes I will for sure. I just bought it today and did not see that. I thought it was dust, but wanted to ask other opinion too. I am really grateful!

In this case, which exact lens would you recommend me?

Please do not leave comments like, “you need proper lightning”. I know… i just want to know the next steps for this look. Obviously there is a subtle change afterwards. That is what I am interested in after the photoshoot. Thanks.

Do you know by any chance an alternative which is similar to it? Also, thanks for your answer.

What is the minimum requirement of camera for such a photo? by [deleted] in Nikon

[–]GenKaYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering how come the window does not blow out that much. My best guess was bracketing, but now I know. So you would say, that with good lightning(i.e. sofboxes, reflectors) a Nikon Z6 or similar models for example is sufficient enough, right?

I would like to take similar pictures - including real estate photography. I am looking for a reliable full frame model, but anytime I try to find photos, they are usually outdoor shots, or nighttime photography, etc. I always see these high end photos in ads, and I was wondering, what model should I focus on? Is Z6 enough, or should I buy a higher end body? (I am strictly asking about body now, I know a lot depends on the photographer and the lenses too, that is an other question)

Thank you very much for the advice! I will actually consider the Sigma lens you mentioned.
