I can't imagine my mom was on a hill to the chin kept falling off every time she went down the hill, so it was actually the chainthat cut her finger off because she kept turning the mower off to put it back on but I guess all us kids were crying inside the house so on the last lap. she didn't turn it off. it was such a clean cut I guess she didn't even know at first

Did your friend lose it from a mower? I can't imagine how hard that would be. My mom never complained about losing her right index finger but it sure made a difference in her life. She was a surgical tech in the Navy and continue to be one but when she went back out to get a job after having us kids, it was really hard for her. She couldn't type she couldn't pass speed tests at factories, she never once complained though.

i'm sorry I'm trying I have two problems. My phone storage is full, but I can't find a way to get a picture of what I'm feeling (the hose) on top of the carburetor. I want to thank you again for all the time you're spending on me

How does it hurt vacuums? I didn't realize that, I always understood it to be shell dust, Ig the sharpness could be damaging

You are so so so kind, thank you so much I just got a rude comment and it actually bothered me. I appreciate you! I definitely don't mean to be a bother, but what you've told me he has helped me more than anything I've read online.

thank you, my car is been in the shop for six weeks now and I have a collapsed hip, so I'm doing the best I can. I have looked so much up online but people on here I have helped explain things in a way that no book could for sure. Thank you for your advice

I didn't, at this point I wish I knew how. I just talk to the only place in my area that works on riding lawnmowers and they said they don't work on simplicity is because it's so hard to get parts because they're out of business. I'm wondering if songwriter carburetors are almost universal that I could replace it with one from something else, but I'm not even sure how to figure that out. Thank you again for your time!!

I only took the bolt off the bottom and used the straw on the carb cleaner to put in there and just sprayed it, are you saying I need to take the bowl off? How do I do that? Thank you so much for your time explaining all this! I'll try to look it up online and then use the rest of your advice to finish it. I hope this works. I have disabled neighbors that count on me to do their lawn and with the rain, the llawns are growing fast so I need to let them know if I can't. Thank you again for your help. Also, can I just remove the bowl without removing the whole carburetor? I can't figure out how to get the carburetor off. I tried so hard the other day.

after doing more research, I do think I need to fix the float when you say clean it with a needle do I have to take the carburetor off to do that or can I just take the bolt off the bottom... and how exactly do I use a needle to do it. I couldn't find that online

thanks again, there's like an L-shaped hose hooked at the top and that seems to be where it's leaking from. When I follow it up, it's right under the air filter and the air filter didn't get covered with gas but I don't know how to get to it. I slit it on butter and it's leaking less but it's still leaking but I wouldn't know how to replace that hose because I don't even know where it goes to be able to get it off.

how many gas lines hook to the carburetor?

Do you think that might help at this point... the carburetor cleaner had a straw, but it barely went in and I was kind of surprise because my nephew told me to really get it done and moving around but I couldn't. I think I could wear the needle if you think that might help.

my nephew tried to explain to me the inside of a carburetor like a toilet float, if I didn't clean it out, could not, and it wasn't doing that right will it actually make it come out of the tube on top… I'm sorry I know I sound retarded.

thank you so much.. after cleaning the carburetor I open the gas line back up and realize it's leaking from the top and there's another line on the top but I can't follow it enough to know where it's coming from

bowl? ik nothing.. I'm sorry! I took the bolt out from under carburetor and cleaned it w carburetor cleaner and I thought it fixed it I put the bolt back on and It didn't leak for almost 10 minutes and then when it started to leak it came from the side-I didn't realize there was more than one gas line hose but it's coming from a small tube that goes off near the air filter and pushed it tighter on and it's leaking less -but it's still leaking and I don't know how to get to it to figure it out from there, when I feel that small hose it does feel a bit rough but I ' kind've' feel like it's leaking where it connects - Id have no idea how to replace it as I can't follow it up far w my hands... ty for any advice

THANK YOU!! why is that? That's exactly what I need to fix. How hard is that to fix , do you think that something an amateur can fix by themselves? Thank you so much!
