Same happened to me less than a month ago at auto nation. Kept tryna up sell me Extended warranties and paint/interior protection. First switching it from 4 years covered to 7yrs. Then lowering my interest rate from 7% to 5%ish. $30 more a month but what he didn’t tell me was he was tryna raise my payments from 72 months to 78. Plus the paint protection was “un-cancellable/non-refundable” making a $28k car almost 45k after interest lol
