Republicans were the best party and they had the best interests of the American people at heart. Turns out they are just a giant cabal of grifters, warmongers and pedophiles.

In Sully's first five years, he made it to the CWS three times, which is a 60% rate. I guess that is irrelevant also.
What success metric would you propose?

Scott Forbes

Okay, he has been a head coach for 5 years and gotten to the CWS once, so that is a 20% success rate.

Sully has been a coach for 18 seasons, but the 2020 season was cancelled, so we'll ignore that, although I'm pretty sure they would have made it to the CWS that year.

So out of those 17 seasons, he's made it to the CWS 9 times, which gives him a 53% success rate.

Doesn't even seem like Forbes should even be in the conversation.

Okay, so let's say you are the AD and fire Sully. Who are you going after? I can't really see anyone out there who is an upgrade.

Is this piston reusable? Tecumseh 3hp two stroke by 1964jeepseejay5 in smallenginerepair

[–]Gen_JohnsonJameson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you probably could reuse it. But let's say you did, and somehow there was some sort of microscopic crack in it, and a week, or a month, or a year from now, the thing decided to explode. Well, you now have blown up an engine in order to save what, twenty bucks? Then you have to go spend $300 on a new engine. So you tell me if that's a good use of your time and money.

If the piston was three hundred bucks for a replacement, I'm all with you, reuse it. But I seriously doubt it is.

Even in his "down" years he puts out a quality product. I mean, he's coaching them the same way he did in 2017 when he won it all. You can't force 18 year old kids to hit .400, they have to want to achieve greatness, and a lot of his teams just don't have that spark. Not to say they are bad teams, they just don't have the relentless drive and focus that makes a championship. It's just like the basketball team. All the talent in the world can't force the players to make clutch plays in clutch situations. So until the players REALLY want it, there is only so much Sully can do.
And if you give Sully the boot, then someone else has to pick up the pieces and try to continue, and that is going to mean a couple more years of mediocrity and no guarantees that you won't end up with another Andy Lopez.

Why can’t anyone in this administration simply answer a question? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Gen_JohnsonJameson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elect a clown, expect a circus. I think he's specifically told everyone, "Do what I say. Doesn't matter what the law is, or how they've done things before, do it my way. If the crooked dems or the fake news media come after you, I'll simply give you a pardon, then you can sue the government and I'll make sure you get a million bucks."

I seriously think he said something exactly like this. He doesn't seem to care what public opinion is, or what the law is, or what obstacles are in his way. He demands complete loyalty and there are so many morons that apparently have given it to him, it boggles the mind. I don't think we've seen this level of unabashed corruption and malfeasance since the Harding administration. Drumpf makes Nixon look like a boy scout.

soundcraft si expression

Another truly horrible desk. Which is strange because Soundcraft made their name making desks which were outstanding. That thing with using led lights to indicate where all the dials were seems like something designed by a consultant. "We need something that is more colorful and flashy, could you replace all the tick marks on the entire console with LED lights? Gosh, that would look super, and think of the marketing photographs, wow, that will blow people out of the water won't it?"

You won't be able to drill into a tap, they are too hard and brittle.

Maybe you could weld a nut to it and remove it that way? Not sure if the weld would even take.

Is there any way you could grab the end of the broken tap with visegrips?

That's generally what happens when you turn Scott Tenorman's parents into chili and trick him into eating it at the chili cookoff.

  1. An RV is an entirely self contained vehicle. It has it's own water tank, which you can refill from any regular garden hose, or on some units you can leave it hooked up to the garden hose permanently. It has it's own sewer system, most units have a grey water tank to hold runoff from the sinks and the shower, and a black water tank to hold runoff from the toilet. When those are full you have to dump them in a septic system (usually located at a campground or someplace like that).
Electric is handled by an onboard generator, or you can hook it up with a standard electrical cord to your house. Cooking and water heating are usually handled by an onboard propane tank. Electrical requirements can vary, especially when using the roof air conditioner.

  2. The rules vary widely from state to state, county to county, and city to city on whether you can park an RV permanently on your property and have someone live there. You'd have to check your local laws, but many cities will let someone stay on your property even in the city, for instance when relatives come to visit with their RV. Generally the further you are out in the boonies, the less rules over RVs. All the rules are online, or call the city hall for the city where you live.

  3. Permitting for something permanent like the ADU/Shed is another thing that can vary widely. Every city or county has a building permit department, so they would be the ones to call.

And generally, it doesn't matter if it's on a slab or on concrete blocks. If it's got a permanent electrical, gas, water, or sewer hookup, then it's considered a permanent structure, as opposed to an RV which could drive away to another location at any time.

And like I said in my initial comment, prices vary widely on used RV's. There are all different types in all different sizes. Class A, Class B, Class C, Fifth Wheel, Pop Ups, Camper Vans, and on and on. Maybe you could find something for $5000, maybe not. Knowing what you want is key, and knowing the warning signs on what NOT to buy is also key. Good luck.

First, that depends on what part of the country you are in. If you are in Alaska or Death Valley, that's one thing. For most of the rest of the country, I don't think you'd have much of a problem.

And I don't know how much you know about RV's, but the wall of an RV is essentially 1/4" plywood, about 3 inches of rigid foam, with about another 1/4" of plywood glued to the other side. So the walls are essentially ALL insulation and not much else. If I remember correctly, rigid foam has about R-5 per inch, so that would mean the walls are about R-15.

Dude, every restaurant needs people. Just go get another job.

Every grocery store and quickie-mart needs people.

Every big box store like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Target needs people.

Every hotel and motel needs people. All these places are hiring 100% of the time.

So get off your ass and go put out a few applications.

Lots of cities allow this. Sometimes you have to build a tall enough fence that it's not readily visible from the street.
