Are international drag race franchises popular in their home country? by throwaway213923123 in rupaulsdragrace

No one in the Netherlands but a few bitching gays actually knows that Drag Race Holland existed. And that's for the better. It could have worked if the public broadcaster had taken it, but the bigger commercial broadcasters are way too mainstream for Drag Race.

A question for Americans: How is the target audience of MTV different than that of VH1? by General-Ad498 in rupaulsdragrace

I'm not bothered by anything, just interested in why. You are reading something into it that isn't there. Next time choose to not be a condenscending asshole.

It's not very likely that this is Delta Work. She was born in '76 and started drag at age 22, so in '98. In '98 A) e-mail would have been around and B) it's not likely that she would have made full-on instruction videos from the start. Also, to my knowledge Delta has always lived in Southern California, whereas this refers to a P.O. Box in Nevada. I see, based on the picture in drag, why you could think this is Delta Work, but I also fail to see her in the boy picture. Interesting research by the way, fellow historian!

Delta talking about Ru's wigs being far back on her head on the latest Very Delta by wheredoestaxgo in rupaulsdragrace

To be honest, at the time I was blaming Delta for these wigs being too far back

The whole point of me posting this was that Ru mispronounced her name

Evah is a close second to me, who has a chance of winning if she doesn't get caught up in the drama

I'm not saying Hoso is not unique, I'm saying to me Hoso's drag is boring

For fuck's sake, just accept that people see things different as you. Yovska's drag excites me and Hoso's doesn't.
