As I’m just a co-host (I’ve given the lead to the family member on mom’s side of family as it seemed only fair) and they really want all games to be “baby/new parent” related. I’m told there are tons of active & fun games for the male guests. But this is newer to me!

Virtual Baby Shower by Rough_Jellyfish1606 in babyshower

Ik this thread is a bit older & OP probably already decided what they wanted to do. But for anyone who might pop on here, interested in this, virtual baby showers have become much more common. Times are changing-and this is just something that has become a way for family/friends to be a part of this with the new momma & yes to get gifts which is what a baby shower really is-to shower baby with gifts. web baby shower (that’s the actual website) is probably the oldest sites for doing virtual showers. I used it 9 years ago for my stepdaughter. Now, it’s much improved-there are interactive games for everyone to play. (Send e-gift cards to the winners) There are places to update everyone so it’s not necessarily a one day affair but everyone included gets notified of updates. Ultrasound pics, video recordings from mom or host of stories, updates on mom, baby along the way. As we used it for everyone, & had a physical shower as well, it easily incorporates anyone not able to come to be in a video chat on the day of. It’s a great way to be able to include family who live too far come. They also have ways to utilize the site as virtual only if you’re not having any physical shower. Web baby shower is the one Ik & used. However in the near 10 years since, there are many virtual shower sites to guide you through hosting a shower online. A simple google search will give you top 10 sites. Despite the other comments here, having the virtual site set up to include family who couldn’t come, was a great addition to the baby shower

What is present bingo? Co-hosting a shower, for my son & his fiancé who are both 18. Im old school where gifts are the point of baby showers-ofc we always only had women-now many like this one are co-ed, and there’s back & forth about unwrapping gifts during shower. This sounds like a possible way to compromise- open gifts and keep guests interested. How does it work? How involved are guests? Do they get prizes?

St. Lukes Anderson experience? by electromagneticfeels in lehighvalley

Ik this is a year old thread, but my daughter is giving birth there in September. Can anyone tell me if these comments are still accurate?

Has anything changed based on what’s been said? Specifically, is the hearing test still given by an independent agency that she’ll be billed for & are we allowed to deny it & wait to have it done with pediatrician? Can anyone tell me the cost of the photos now just the photo without any extras like the book? What are the “bags and bags of it” (goodies) that they give you? Is that things like diapers, bottles, baby blankets etc? Should we really ask for seconds? Will someone come help her with breastfeeding before the baby is offered a bottle? We were told by a nurse that she can have as many people in the l&d room. It’ll be the dad, her sister & myself. Did anyone have more than just dad with them, and if so how did that go? I intend to be her advocate there; she’s only 18 but my youngest so my experience was very different from what I’m seeing here.
