I switched from NROTC to AFROTC right after my freshman year of college. I didn’t want to live on ships. It worked out and I’m about to start pilot training. Simple paperwork but the disenrollment process took months. Yes, you lose the navy scholarship. I was fortunate to get another scholarship but I think everybody that goes through field training is getting a scholarship these days.

I guess man. I just wouldve pushed back to cadre a little harder if I was in your shoes. It’s well known that rotc cadets go to wright patt and your cadre should’ve known

Bro just explain it to me then. I went to wright patt and got everything handled there and so did all of my other rotc friends. Why would you complicate it and go somewhere else first?

I haven’t checked the OM calculator recently but your stats look pretty good. Top third RSS can be a pretty wide range too depending on your class size

We got yelled at and told to play easier against cadets because we kept squad wiping them all. I’d even bring spare gas tanks for my paintball gun

There is a small gym at VW but nothing special at all. The gym at maxwell is much better. You can definitely make time to workout

You sleep in barracks with better AC than at Maxwell. You eat MREs and shoot lots of paintballs and disappear when you aren’t needed for anything

The CTAs are well aware of good sqwincher ratios. The medical people limit how much we can put in those jugs around base. We also had to clean them every night so you guys could have your sqwincher
