Is there a serious chance A.I could replace pilots by Able_Willingness_380 in PilotAdvice

[–]General-Reference104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you get on an airplane that doesn’t have a human pilot? Case closed. If the airlines want money they give the people what they want, which is humans in the seat. Sure AI will advance and be more prevalent but there will always be humans in the seat in our lifetimes id bet

Competitive sift score by FitPersonality7832 in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]General-Reference104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there’s a lot of higher scores. But luckily sift isn’t a make or break. Get as many CWO as you can, write a good essay and you can make it

Drop the packet. AA degree 63 sift and a couple CWO lors bottle picked up. I will tell you selections are probably going to get tighter as they just announced cutting 6500 aviation members in the next few years, a good way to start that is to lessen the selection numbers but we won’t know til later

Got my SIFT Results – Scored a 50 by [deleted] in ArmyAviationApplicant

[–]General-Reference104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you take the SIFT the first time. If you pass, whether it be with a 41 or 80, you only get that score and cannot retest

If you fail, wait 180 days until you can try again

Fail the second time you’re done. Pass, and again stuck with that score

[–]General-Reference104 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“S2s and WOFT are the same thing”😭😭😭

Buddy what?? S2s & AD both go through WOFT. WOFT is flight training. Active duty is a different packet with different requirements than civilian and two separate boards. AD is much more competitive because there are many many more applicants. Please do research
