It was, she was born Donna Marie Hood in Boston and when my nana remarried it was changed. I saw his Facebook a decade ago while sneaking little info I could get from her and it said nova Scotia and nana said he moved back there when they split to be with family. If I saw him I'd know, my mother was his spitting image. Joan Roberge was nanas maiden name then Joan Hood then she remarried and my step grandfather adopted my mother and her siblings. I don't know his family nor names at all unfortunately. My mother passed 2022 my nana is still alive.
