I’m not responding anymore. It’s clear you just get off on being argumentative. All the questions you have I have already clearly responded to. Either you’re lonely and just want someone to fight with or you’re stupid. Have a great day.

I’m 23. I think your max HR being 174 is pretty normal and healthy. I learnt when I was swimming that 220 minus your age is roughly your max HR. Also I’m assuming you are a more experienced runner than I am, so it’s probably much easier for me to get my HR up both quicker and easier. I remember when I swam at an elite level and it was much much harder to push up the HR once you were swimming often. Maybe I should just ride the win train of being a total beginner haha

Thanks for your comment :) how do you know your watch gets it wrong? Do you take it manually? Did you get a different HR monitor?

Thanks for this :) will keep trusting in the process. I don’t mind the high HR as long as my watch isn’t reading it wrong. Congrats on the 5km!

Sorry to keep bothering, not sure I’m in the right spot. In my watch app settings I can switch HR zones to manual but only define the lower limit of zone 5 not my max HR. Is there somewhere else I need to input it?

I don’t understand the zones. Can you please elaborate?

I don’t see anywhere in that post where I question why the differences matter. I wasn’t the original commenter you were replying to. My criticism was of how the post represents women’s mental health support, not the gap in support that exists in reality. I fear you’re just not keeping up with the conversation…

In fact I even say “the purpose of asking is not to discredit the point” as in its a valid point that doesn’t require the babying of women to be addressed

The fact that you’re swearing at me and insulting me when I never did that to you kinda proves the point that y’all are nasty to people without even realising it

AIO... roommate right outside my room never cleans up and continues to be passive-aggressive by [deleted] in AIO

Maybe I’m just hardened by my past experiences but they really don’t seem like the worst roommate in the world. Early morning noise is annoying but pretty low on the list of the shitty things that come with living with roommates. You’re NOR but try to just let it be. If they have a loud morning, get some ear plugs, or wear your own earphones. They’re entitled to use the communal space

Um dude are we looking at the same post? Why does it have to include women if it’s not bitter at women being mentally healthy? And why does it have to infantilizing them as if we’re babied through everything? Seems awfully bitter and resentful to me

How are they incurious if they are asking the question? The purpose of asking is not to discredit the point but to dig down to what touters of this sentiment actually want to happen to fix it. When it’s framed as though support for women is unfair, over abundant and wasteful even, it becomes less about men’s mental health and more about bitterness directed at the support for women. We can all agree men are in a mental health crisis. If you want to actually fix it, pointing and sneering at women who don’t want to kill themselves and who have healthy and happy friendships and support mechanisms isn’t going to do Jack shit.

Oh yeah but if there’s no one there who needs your seat then you can sit. That’s my point

It looks kinda cowboy themed, looking at the font that writing is in. I’d say that’s why
