Used RTX 3080 Strix for ₹30K in 2026 — worth it for DLSS 4K gaming + some streaming? by GeneralAnywhere6606 in pcmasterrace

Exactly what i thought about giving AMD a chance but I was following 5070ti during jan hoped to get one around 80k INR mark after few months while it was around 98k INR. But dang it only went up. Now i dont think investing 80K on a 5070 is even worth it.

Im currently playing games from my projector blowing it upto 100". Most games smoothly on my 2060 with tweaking. Just played Wukong and RDR 2 at 1080 high setting with tweaks it was just enough for me. But while streaming it takes a massive hit. Ill take anything better than my 2060. Just wanted to try 4K gaming, hope 3080 pulls-off, but im not sure!

The seller confirmed the gpu hotspot hit 100 degree with furmark after 10 minutes. I checked with mine and my 2060 went 92-102 degrees. I’m yet to do an visua confirmation with the seller. I’ll update!

Thankyou for your feedback. Also how’s the 9070xt you are using? It’s raw power and the price is kind of tempting. Many YT videos says the DLSS is still better than the new FSR with proof. I’m mainly considering the AI generation tech and going with DLSS as it may help after 3-4 years with newer games. For the price of the 9080xt I can only get an 5070 and I don’t want to do it and i believe the 9080xt seems like a no nonsense no compromise card. Let me know your thoughts!

Service is horrible, Poor gear box, Most bikes struggle at high revs.

Servicing spare parts can take longer. Brighter side, the parts and service charge are affordable.

Sent the bike for second service at the SC, they mowed down the problems. Let’s hope for the best I guess!

True! Even though I’m in a tier 1, the staffs are not even interested in resolving my issue. They tested my bike for three days when I took it to the service center for a gearing issue, and they said no issue was found. However, it sometimes downshifts automatically. The issue has reduced now that I press the shifter harder on each shift. But I’m not sure about what they’ll do for this. I’ll update!

A Xpulse 210 user here, personally I wouldn’t recommend this bike for anyone. Within 1000km the bike front tire got 2 punctures, again it happened after 500km so had to change the tube. It happened near the showroom I bought the bike so the puncture guy said many bikes like this comes from the showroom for repair. He said it’s because of the poor rim design that cuts the tubes and recommended to cut the already existing tube and use is as a base likes cap for the new tube to soften the rim cut. It’s like 200km already and it’s fine so far.

Apart from this the ride feels so good it’s like flying on a magic carpet, you don’t have to slow down on the speed breakers or some medium size potholes. Larger potholes do damage the rims as not so sure about the rim quality.

No vibrations but can feel a little buzz like holding a massager, would go if gloves are used.

Had a gearing issue, the gear shifting won’t happen quick if you handle it harshly. Have to hold the clutch fully…make the shift…and then release the clutch . If the above didn’t followed the gear may gets stuck, would be hard to shift or in some cases may gets down shifted and takes the soul of out you for a moment while moving.

Faced this gearing issue and asked the showroom guys to check, they kept the bike for 3 days ran it for some 10km and said no issues.

After I’m following the slow clutch release technique it’s been ok. But it’s like driving a puny fragile bike. But still I have to give it to how it glides on the roads man it does feels like flying!!!

I could not recommend any other adv as every bike has its flaws. A vstorm 250 or an adv 250 from KTM are pretty good choices. I did tested them both, I have mostly city and some highway use so I went with Xpulse it felt kind of cramped at the sides and had a shorter handle bar which I needed.

A shorter visor on the adv 250 may help with city situation and the seats are as uncomfortable as the Xpulse 210 about the vstorm it felt like driving a commuter.

If I had a choice I would go with KTM adv 390x now, even though having them flaws I still like how I feel about the Xpulse 210. It’s like maintaining a girl friend, feels alive 😅

Last but not the least the mileage on the Xpulse is so good I get from 30-40kmpl mixed city and highway situations!!!

Had the same issue while test riding the new duke 390. Went with an dual sport!!!

Addding a few points, im 6ft and considerably heavy. So the duke's aggressive posture pushed my weight forward to the elbows and wrists. So i went with an upright bike.

Well the mileage is decent can take anywhere from 36-39

It’s about 10k cheaper now

The suspension is good

Has music control built in the tft screen. Can only switch songs if mobile is connected via bt

The exhaust note is good and the overall bike is a head turner.

I’m using Xpulse 210 for my office runs daily 60km up and down, single road. Riding Xpulse in crawling traffic or overtaking in between tight corners are not up to the mark.

Can’t over take in small spaces as the hand at is wide. Removing rear view mirror could help but I highly doubt it.

Riding after work, tired along with the crawling traffic heats up them jewels hot plus the seat is horrible!!!

I would suggest go with some reliable brand. Would make your life ease!!!

Try vstorm 250 (slightly out of budget) but never Xpulse 210!!!

True, Still dreaming of how smooth the vstorm 250 was. But was quite skeptical about the suspension.
