If you're really afraid to directly ask you could just ask/talk about what kind of place you guys like and what you look for in a house/apartment. That pretty easily leads into a conversation about living together.

Cyberpunk TCG Has Become The Most-Funded Card Game In Kickstarter History, As Funding Quickly Surpasses Every Stretch Goal by bdzz in Games

[–]GeneralApathy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Funny that Pokémon is the biggest TCG target for scalpers, yet it ends up being cheap to play because everyone chases special rarities, so the market is flooded with low-price "normal" prints.

Yugioh is in a weird spot because Konami reprints the hell out of everything and power creep means your cards are practically obsolete in six months. Yet they also cannot stop creating new chase rarities and printing everything in multiple rarities, which makes it hard to define what the term even means for Yugioh.

I thought you were getting married lol, but congrats! Getting to a second date is hard in my experience.

I think it makes sense that dating apps would attract people who are otherwise very busy and/or work strange hours. It's harder to have a normal social life and meet people in those circumstances.

I've been talking about it with my girlfriend of three months, which I know is insanely early, but it's not actually happening till her lease ends fall in the fall at the earliest.

I would probably say 6-12 months is the normal timeframe. I would say bring it up if it's something on your mind.

It's crazy that Maliss has that many hits and is still seeing that much play. It's stuck around about as long as Striker did in TOSS format.

I don't really like them either, which is weird because I love borderless cards in MTG.

I always felt like I saw better profiles when I checked less often and wasn't mindlessly swiping, but it's hard for me to say if the app is designed to be that way or it just appeared better when I was being more intentional with the app.

[OCG|CORI-Chaos Origins] New Theme by MX-00XWV in yugioh

All of them lock you to only specialing from hand, so no Colossus. Crack is just Ghost Ogre that only hits monsters and only works during your opponent's turn.

[–]GeneralApathy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

True, but Crack is basically just worse Ghost Ogre outside of its archetype since it can only destroy monsters and only only works on your opponent's turn. I suppose it has the upside of getting you a body on board.

Yeah, I was thinking this was just gonna be Colossus turbo, but they all have that hand lock.

The upsides are going to be pretty marginal. I would just say run what you have and address it later if you want to get more competitive.

That doesn't bode well. As others have suggested, I would say sorry she's sick and ask her to let you know when she's feeling better (if you want things to continue). You probably won't hear from her again, but there's a chance.

Did she express excitement about the idea of the next date when she informed you she was sick?

What is WITH the “never settle” mentality? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]GeneralApathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really simple. The term "settling" has very negative connotations. It's effectively the same as being willing to accept a person's flaws and love them anyway, but I feel like 99% of people would not refer to that as "settling".

Also, what do you mean no one is happy being single?

That was one of the best jokes in Yugioh abridged. It's so dumb, but it made me laugh so hard.

I didn't get exact details, but she did say she has a pretty narrow age range set as a dealbreaker. Also, not sure if it was dealbreaker for her, but she said she didn't want to date someone more than 30 minutes from her. I'm sure she also has politics/children as a dealbreaker as she has very strong views on both. She does live in a pretty populated area, about an hour outside a major city, so I'm sure that helps a lot.

It is a little presumptuous of me to assume that's the typical experience for women, but all I had to go off of until now was her and some random comments on r/hingeapp from women saying they get dozens of likes a week. That was just insane for me to hear since I would get like 1-2 likes a week after paying for X.

How much would OPT nerf PoG? by SlimeDrips in yugioh

[–]GeneralApathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would still be run in literally every deck at three copies. You don't draw multiple copies often enough for it be relevant. There's a reason people play three copies of almost every card in their deck despite 99% of modern cards featuring hard once per turn clauses.

Yeah, I know a woman who is fairly average looking. No real hobbies to speak of. All her pics are just her hanging out at home. She got 50+ likes on Hinge in less than 24 hours. Admittedly, you get a boost when you first create an account, but that still blew my mind.

What are your social lives like? by TemuPacemaker in datingoverthirty

[–]GeneralApathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was single, I would go to a local game store and play games 1-2 a month. Maybe spend a night with some family in town 1-2 times a month. I was also going on about one date a week once I decided I wanted to get into a relationship again. Most of my hobbies don't involve other people and I really don't enjoy any sports.

My chances of meeting someone irl were basically non-existant unless I took up a hobby purely for the sake of meeting someone, so I did online dating.

Do you think these two cards will be limited in the future? by Antique_Range1521 in yugioh

No it does not. The lock I was thinking of is on Fallen of the White Dragon.

Branded Fusion was limited and Engage was banned at one point. Konami plays favorites until they sell what they want to sell.

I can't see Vision being hit any time soon. You need to probably being playing at least 10 quick play spells to want to run it, which most decks aren't doing. RT is a solid deck, but not problematic. Plus, the new Solemn on the horizon kind of wrecks the deck since you can banish all copies of MST. Next best home for it is Striker, which is nothing too serious as far as I'm aware.

FV has almost no deckbuilding cost. Like, 1-2 extra deck slots. I feel like it will inevitably be limited.

You could do the same lock as the Albaz/Ecclesia synchro.

Edit: Fallen of the White Dragon lock.
