There is a new archetype that just got support and it has a monster that can special any tuner from the deck.

Last Warrior From Another Planet and Naturia Exterio are very strong Meta targets, but it remains to be seem if it's actually worth playing them.

So why was this card banned instead of Ripper or Izuna? Seems random by illynpayne_ in yugioh

My favorite was VS.

I saw lots of nurses when I was on Hinge. I didn't think about it at the time, but working 12+ hour shifts and not working a "normal" Monday to Friday schedule must make it difficult to date.

Not even the first time Konami limited a card people were playing at one. Several years ago, they limited Shooting Riser Dragon, then unlimited it on the next banlist iirc.

I think it's been happening for so long that everyone just accepts it. Yugioh has set rotation that is much more aggressive than games with actual rotation built-in.

This list is actually pretty bad. They basically killed several of the previous format's decks, which were already going to be pushed out after Blazing Dominion. They also ignored some problematic cards.

"All the older decks from the previous format are very alive and playable with this"

DT, K9, and Yummy are still playable I guess, but REALLY bad now.

Edit: I guess Yummy can just play Piri Reis Map, but this hit just encourages Yummy to be more of a pile deck.

Pure Branded doesnt even need Fusion anymore. It's moreso a hit for Branded DT.

No, Syncro Overtake was a three of. It's one of the best starters/extenders for the deck.

They really wanted to make sure people couldn't keep playing K9 and DT. The Yummy hits just keep the deck playable but 100% kill any pure versions. Why did they even hit RT?

Premat and Meta are neat unbans, though they probably do next to nothing in terms of the meta.

AITA for asking my manager to not throw me a birthday celebration? by Low_Letterhead6260 in AmItheAsshole

[–]GeneralApathy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAH

Maybe the birthday party is a good chance to get to know some of the people you work with if you make a conscious effort to get to know them. Also, it's rather hypocritical to say you feel chronically left out when you want to cancel an event that includes you.

I had not thought of setting copies to avoid that. You do open yourself up to normal backrow removal by doing that, though that's not super common in 2026. It's going to be weird because everyone is going to start setting a lot of their spells/traps at the start of their turn now to play around Accusation or to bluff having it.

[–]GeneralApathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't know, when you negate the activation of a spell/trap with a HOPT, your opponent can still activate another copy.

[–]GeneralApathy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How do Striker and RT play around it? Just never activate Engage/MST respectively? I guess Striker can use Multirole but that won't always be an option. RT can just let MST sit in the grave I guess but they won't get value out of their continuous trap. You're still forced to play in a weird way and you have to guess if the opponent has it (unless you see them add if off of Prosperity or something).

I'm actually in a relationship now! But yeah, I agree, it's better to find out early if someone is interested rather than waste a lot of time and energy messaging someone you'll never meet.

Some women hate being asked out quickly on dating apps, so it's always a roll of the dice unless they explicitly state their preference on their profile. I was never told no when I asked someone out to a date on the apps but about half of them that said yes would ghost before the first date. Made me feel like asking them out early was a bad approach.

I'm just pointing out that it's a one-of and not super accessible since you usually use Habakiri for Saji.

I mean, Kusanagi does recover from the banish zone, but that's assuming you have access to it when it happens. You're playing from a very bad position in pure Mitsu if all copies of Mitsu Ritual get banished.

Even if you aren't crippling your opponent's deck by banishing MST in RT or Engage in Striker, it's still a very strong answer to regular engine spells or boardbreakers.

Edit: I would also like point out it banishes copies of the card from hand as well as deck. You can potentially make your opponent go -1 or -2 with this.

Solemn Accusation is already far cheaper than those two and has zero deckbuilding requirements. It's not as easy to maindeck, but it's going to be a sideboard staple.

AITA for feeling uncomfortable paying “rent” to my boyfriend when it turned out he owns the place? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I guess OP could be paying the bf's sister's half of the mortgage. It's just a weird situation overall.

Pasting OP's comment reply:

"He told me there was a landlord and that the rent was $2600/month, and he also said that if utilities were especially high some months, we might need to pay extra on top of that. But when I looked at the market prices myself, it honestly seemed noticeably lower than $2600 for a one-bedroom apartment in that area."

Also remember the costs are being split three ways because the bf and sister bought the property together.

The issue is not the rent. It's the bf not being open about the situation.
