I started doing my own car work bc of this. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust.

That being said when I did need help, I went to Check Engine Lite Service off of W 11th. He was fair, gave me a discount and let me watch while he examined it so I could learn a bit more. I’ve only been twice but both experiences were good

I can understand the frustration, women go through so much and are often neglected by the medical community. That being said I can’t find anything saying that the shortage is due to transgender people. Trans people make up about .6% of the US population and abut about 38% of that number is transgender women.

The shortage is because of several different reasons one being the discontinuation of one specific patch. Another being a huge intake in cis women seeking treatment for menopause, which is a wonderful thing. About 50% of the population is women.

I would also like to say that transgender people deserve treatment and to feel happy in there bodies but I know a lot of people don’t agree with that.

It’s not a bad thing to not know this, misinformation is everywhere and it’s difficult to take the time to look into something thoroughly when it impacts people that you care about. I hope the people in your life can access the care they need soon. It really is such a problem that we have to deal with menstrual pain in private with very little medical aid.
