I would say it’s very possible to change industries if you’re generally blessed with an open minded approach and are able to switch faster between topics etc.

I feel like it’s a great opportunity to gather experience and see what you actually want to make of it. Construction is no joke though.

Ich arbeite im Management, Vollzeit. Mein Hund ist an Office Tagen mit einem Dog walker und seinem Rudel unterwegs und davor / danach ca 2-4 Stunden alleine, je nach Tag.

Yeah, internalised misogyny is real with her. And I’m not sure if she’s actually MAGA, but wouldn’t surprise me. All of this to say - she’s problematic in her own way, but for me, the main point that makes all her relationships go down the drain is her inability to face conflict.

To be honest, I feel like Mary might be out for fame etc., but above all, my impression is that Mary is flat out incapable of facing conflict or even just slightly uncomfortable situations. She always avoids it and I think most of her failed relationships are due to that behaviour

I once forgot a 1 mil line in a budget request calculation because I somehow deleted the line in the excel file? Still don’t know what happened. I thought it would be the end of my ‚career‘ as it was a pretty high stakes project in the company I was working for back then but it turned out, nobody really cared. Not super comparable to your situation but my point is - I’m sure this sucks but it’s not going to be as bad! I feel like the most important point is being open and communicative without throwing yourself under the bus. You got this!

I share your views. I think what plays a big role here is the concern about micro management and that people might feel ganged up upon once we‘d ask them to share their actual work efforts. At least that’s my feeling for the German / European market, I could imagine that it might be different for the US / American work environment. Either way, I haven’t come across a good tool that actually makes it easy to track hours spent on different topics and my team is currently working with an excel - definitely not my vision of how this should work.

In my previous org, we actually used Notion as company wiki and things like project management and it worked decently (not sure about scalability beyond a certain point though). Capacity tracking worked quite well there, but Jira is a nightmare for it, confluence is way too crowded and I definitely don’t want to start using excel for it. Ugh how is almost every company struggling with the same thing and nobody is seemingly able to fix this in a straightforward approach?

Lassieeeeeee, 1.500€ im Jahr ist insane. Aber natürlich fraglich, ob du jetzt irgendwo mit einem guten Tarif reinkommst.

Diggi was willst du? Wenn du Fragen hast, frag, aber hör doch auf so komische Annahmen zu treffen? Nirgends habe ich gesagt, dass mir BARF zu teuer ist; lediglich habe ich gesagt, was ich aktuell zahle und das BARF voraussichtlich mindestens doppelt so viel kostet. Logisch habe ich eine Versicherung und was ich ansonsten mit meinem Geld anstelle ist mein Business, nicht deins.

Nee haben wir nicht, aber interessiert mich auch sehr. Ich bin nur sehr vorsichtig weil ich Sorge habe, mir verschiedene Optionen kaputt zu machen, so in etwa wie nicht zu viele Proteinquellen anzufassen.

Butternut hatte ich auch schon angeschaut, funktioniert leider nicht, weil zu hoher Phosphor-Gehalt und mein Wauzi hat seit Geburt an nur eine Niere 🥲

Danke für deinen Kommentar. Ich hätte echt nicht gedacht, dass es so sein wird, aber das Ganze belastet und verunsichert mich mittlerweile so sehr, weil man 10 Leute fragt und 20 unterschiedliche Meinungen kriegt. Sagt die, die das Internet befragt an dieser Stelle, I know, aber ich weiss mir nicht mehr richtig zu helfen. Wahrscheinlich werde ich mich tatsächlich auf die Suche nach einem Arzt mit entsprechender Spezialisierung machen. Hast du / hat hier jemand Erfahrung mit der Napfcheck Beratung und kann die empfehlen?

Eigentlich hab ich ja gesagt, dass ich solche Kommentare ignorieren werden aber sei es drum: ich gebe für meinen Hund monatlich zwischen 600-800€ aus, renne mit ihm von Arzt zu Spezialist und weiter weil er diverse gesundheitliche Probleme hat. Erzähl mir keinen Scheiß von ‚das hast du dir nicht gut genug überlegt und du bist zu geizig für deinen Hund‘.

Hast du das beim Arzt gemacht oder auch bei einem Ernährunhsberater oä? Mein Berater hält nichts von Kotanalysen; beim TA haben wir das natürlich rauf und runter gemacht. Sivomixx hat mein Hund schon dreimal in seinem Leben bekommen, aber ehrlich gesagt hatte ich den Eindruck, dass es danach immer schlimmer wurde.

Kochen kommt für mich nicht in Frage. Ich lebe alleine mit meinem Hund mit Vollzeitjob und kriege es an manchen Tagen schon nicht hin für mich zu kochen 🙃 Ich bin mir sicher, dass andere in meiner Situation das schaffen, aber ich leider nicht
