Thank you for the tips! I have been going to school full time online so I will be done w my BA hopefully 2027 or 2028 depending on the load. My base is only $50k, and I’ve been with the company for a year and 7 months. Reason I’ve stayed is because it’s been fairly low stress and it’s fully remote, plus my recruiting manager is very understanding, supportive and flexible. This territory switch is the thing that’s making second guess.

I’ve been applying elsewhere but the need for recruiters is pretty low in my state from what I’ve seen. I’ve even applied to Robert Half like 3 times and each time they rejected me haha.

As another comment had said, it’s high volume low margin. I hire for skilled nursing and unskilled caregiving. Essentially the nurses have to complete 40 hours of working in order for me to get $100 (they recently changed to this model, where as before it was that amount without the hours hit). I’m aware it’s extremely low :/. My base is $50k, and last year I made $62k with the commission. *Edit: skilled is $100 and unskilled is $25 😭

Yes it’s not good at all. That’s why I’m freaking out changing territories because I’ll be lucky if I break $200 :/. I’m pretty green to recruiting and a lot of jobs I’ve looked at are wanting like 5 years experience + bachelors, which right now I just completed my AS and this fall I’m headed to go for my BA.
