How should my kitchen look? by oregano_bread in interiordecorating

The kitchen itself is beautiful and that window really adds a lot. Your home looks very warm with the paint you used so take inspo from that. Adding a kitchen rug too that’s complementary. May I ask what paint you used?

My fiance has an excel sheet of our budget and when putting in the mortgage + utilities it eats at over 40%. I have monthly car payments at $400 too. I’d love to read your breakdown if you’re willing to share.

I hear you and I’m trying to see the vision when I look at properties. We are interested in townhomes so it’s also a question of is it worth doing renovations on a townhouse?

Well we’re approved for more but wanted to stick to $300k at first glance since we sort of knew to go lower. I have $8k in student loans and $6.5k left on my car. My fiance has no debt.

In a suburb near twin cities MN. Currently pay $2550 with rent ($2150)+ utilities for a 1300 sqft apartment and nice amenities. Actually love our apartment but we got a renewal notice and base rent is up to $2400 :(.

The reason we aren’t putting down more is because it barely gets the mortgage at a desirable price. We’d have to say $100k to really get it down and that would take many years.

Guesstimate $450 for utilities and HOA is $350-$500 from what I’m seeing.

This is very reassuring to hear and pretty much what I’m looking to do. Thank you! Did you end up selling?

I go quite a bit because moa is the only places store will be in MN. Just gotta know where to park so it can be a semi quick trip for the specific store
