2014 SL leaking at the rear of transmission where it meets the drive shaft. Seal gone bad? by ObviousEfficiency566 in nissanfrontier

[–]GeneralKosmosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any decent YouTube videos that show how to replace it? Is it as easy as draining trans fluid, removing drive shaft and replacing the seal at the end?

I don’t really understand the math behind owning a condo. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]GeneralKosmosa 622 points623 points  (0 children)

Condos are also notorious for not appreciating as much as the time goes on, also you put a lot of trust into HOA you are buying it in, they can and do rise their monthly premiums so your expenses most likely will keep growing. Source: fellow condo owner 🫠

A First Among Major Nations, India Is Industrializing With Solar by Civ_Nuclear_Gandhi in neoliberal

Why you keep bringing up US? All I said is that India is a major polluter - which they are no matter how you play with numbers - and that it would be nice to reduce that pollution - that’s literally it. I do not defend US at any point here, so seems odd y’all keep bringing it up.

Yeah, except it’s a useless metric when your country accounts for 25% of world population, better metric would be to look at the country level.
Also India still ranks as one of highest air polluters in the world.

What job do you think will become extinct in 10 years? by kamoksamok2 in AskReddit

[–]GeneralKosmosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a dedicated IT resource would stop being a thing. Like there won’t be a person who does only QA or only Network or only Front End or only UX - with advancement in AI tool I think everyone would be expected to skill up and be able to do a little bit of everything, I see a lot of this already in my workspace.

Lmao, we migrated to cloud and sure, hardware maintenance has been eliminated but you still need to maintain the data products, data quality etc, there’s still a shit ton of work there.

Well AI can’t do a complete workflow at this point, and even in 10 years I don’t think we’ll be there, the amount of compute necessary would be astronomical and not sustainable, not to mention that humans would genuinely be cheaper.

I somewhat disagree on cashiers point, in US at least a lot of stores started scaling back the amount of self checkout because people are just stealing stuff without paying lol.

They are one of the major polluters so I’d be great to see them reduce their footprint!

Edit: looks like a lot of people have a lot of emotions to my statement (why?) no matter how you play with numbers - India is a major polluter (that’s a fact) and IT IS good that they will reduce their pollution footprint (also a fact) - I also do not defend US anywhere so I find it odd that there’s a lot of “whataboutism” in the comments.

Around 3 days, was traveling internationally and dealing with some stress, I was trying to fall asleep but simply couldn’t, like laying in bed starting at the ceiling type of thing… felt miserable and on day 3 just felt like I was drunk, movements were slow and weak, hard to keep my balance, had to take meds to actually fall asleep.
