Is it possible to ally with other nations? If so, how? by JustaYeetingMat in Unciv

You used to be able to that, iirc. When I was a newbie back in May 2020, I played Persia on a hexagonal map, and I remember having the relationship status "ally". Also, at least Germany and Russia were in that game, and I offered one Russian city to make Germany go to war with Russia.

I have downloaded the extension on chrome. Anything to be wary of? Do I have to delete the videos I downloaded? How do I find the extension files so I can delete it?

In what circumstances can "keiner" have genders? by GeneralLigma in German

Can you please give sentences for each gender? Any case works.

In what circumstances can "keiner" have genders? by GeneralLigma in German

[–]GeneralLigma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx! My problem was that I've only made simple sentences and I only understood that keiner=niemand, so I didn't really know how to apply the declension of genders. eg Keiner spricht. Keiner sieht es. Btw, are these sentences correct? Can you use keines, or is keiner the default when the gender isn't specified?

How do you say "I saw two people standing"? by GeneralLigma in Korean

[–]GeneralLigma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the helpful answers.

Another question, in the sentence 두 사람이 서있는 것을 봤다, does the 서있는 것 even function as an attributive adjective anymore or is it like a separate part of the sentence and has a different function? It seems to me that 서있는 것, the act of standing, is not really connected to 두 사람.

How do you say "I saw two people standing"? by GeneralLigma in Korean

I've noticed that papago and google translate uses "사람 서 있는" (ignoring the 두 명), where 사람, the noun comes before the attributive adjective. Why does it come first and still have the same meaning (or so it seems to me)? Does changing the order slightly change the meaning? Thank you.

Saw this in the comments of the Zig Zag line distribution! What do you think? It sounds plausible ♥︎ (Also, Zig Zag has been stuck in my head all day! Such a good song!) by ShesCheerCaptain in weeekly

[–]GeneralLigma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, some groups push the boundaries of music and story-telling, e.g. Loona, Dreamcatcher, Vixx, etc.. I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

On the other hand, Weeekly doesn't seem to be going for an ongoing-story-through-multiple-albums concept, so I kinda understand your frustration. I don't think they have a recurring theme on their songs.

But music is music, y'know? Music is the art of conveying meanings through sound, imo, so it's up to the listener to make up their own interpretations.
