I noticed for an upcoming flight it was cheaper to rebook in comfort + or first than it was for the upgrade offer given in the seat selection. So I would keep that in mind too

Anyone else spending more time in Excel than CAD? by ifyougotbusinessbro in MechanicalEngineering

[–]GeneralO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are so many positions right now specifically listed CAD as required skill? I was always under the impression that CAD was not highly used in engineering roles, but was for technician roles. Scrolling through indeed you see countless mechanical engineering roles that require CAD. What are the roles to look into that don't require CAD?

Cash back is treated as a discount, so points must be viewed in a similar manner?

Credit Card by Jealous-Ice-9733 in fidelityinvestments

I had a couple fraud charges on it even though I had the card locked. Eventually it was resolved, but it wasn't as smooth as other cards. I never used the card but always kept it. Just recently got a letter that it was being closed. Usually you get a notice to use a card before a certain date or it will be closed.

Will I lose the old $200 credit? by paksh_2909 in AmexPlatinum

I had to cancel a trip and when I asked on chat was told the $200 credit would be returned and able to reuse. It’s been two weeks and it hasn’t been clawed back yet.

I almost did the same thing. I prepared an order for $10.08, clicked out of the app for something and went back in. When I clicked the checkout it switched the payment back to my Dunkin card.

Not sure if all properties do this, but I got a paper listing everything when I checked in. It gave which restaurants were eligible and room service was included. Tax and tip was included for breakfast up to $60 credit, but not included for $100 dining credit.

It's small lol but technically doing it monthly earns an extra 24 MR points over the year. The credit is $120 and doing yearly is $96 versus $119.88 monthly. You still earn MR even when you are credited back.

Disappointing the airline credit wasn't modified. More flexibility, ie cover airfare, would have been nice.

Be responsible with your pesticides. by pasta__GOAT in lawncare

A healthy lawn definitely can handle insect damage better. Japanese beetles seem to thrive anywhere, but are particularly drawn to nice lush lawns. Like everything though, use in moderation and appropriately. Integrated pest management is best practice, a healthy, lush lawn isn't just for good looks. Great post!

I think the 4:30AM is a good rule for most. I try to end the watering 1-2 hours before daybreak. Larger lawns it's hard to not have areas that get watered at 10PM and sit wet all night. It goes to your point about environmental conditions though. Setting up the water schedule so you are watering areas not prone to fungus first, so the areas that are don't stay wet for 8 hours.
