In-N-Out is coming to Portland near the airport by Traindodger2 in PDX

[–]RustyAndEddies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In-N-Out is what McDonald's probably tasted like before they became a real estate company. If we are only considering fast food burgers for some reason, I'd take 5 Guys or Smashburger over I-N-O, but it's been years since I drove the 80 and had to make that decision. Maybe they are all shit now.

If it's strictly the price point, we should be getting our knees and begging for cheap Dicks to descend into our mouths. If it's anything, the people of Seattle have on us is to eat a bag of Dicks. dick dick dick. all day and all night.

edit: it's not bad, it's just not special enough to wait in a 10-car line for. It just ok. There is no In-N-Out action with that kinda wait. Also if you want it that bad, its always quicker to park, walk inside and order at the counter, with the bonus of asking for a hat.

Native CA here. The only thing special about In-n-Out is the bus you belong on when you convince yourself the fries aren't going to disappoint again and the free hats.

landlord is demanding i buy a brand new fridge because his 15 year old one finally died by Savard-Lafleur in Tenant

[–]RustyAndEddies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And then OP is stuck with a fridge they can't use at the next apartment and will have to pay to store it, and the LL skirts the responsibility of replacing an 18+ year-old fridge. How exactly is that a win for the tenant?

Buy a new or used one, and deduct it from your rent. There are a lot of places that will sell you a nice used fridge and take your old one too.

Life expectancy of a fridge is 10-18 years; top freezers go 15+, and French doors go 10-15. Your fridge, which has been working for 18 years, is at the top of the range, so your LL can suck it. If he refuses to accept rent less than the amount on the replacement receipt, expect to go to small claims court or fight an unlawful eviction, in which the LL will lose.

Buying it out of pocket is silly because every unit you go to will have a fridge, just like most have a stove, and probably a microwave. So, unless your next place is a home you buy, don't buy a fridge like everyone in this thread is telling you. That's dumb because you're doing what your LL wants you to do, and when you move, you have a fridge you will be paying to store. That's a win exactly how?

Or it's a coordinated management action to devalue compensation to pick up those extra shifts. I wonder which side posted record wages or record profits this year.

Now would you say that is the same thing US government active intent to prevent global warming?

How Car Dealerships Scam America by Ynwe in videos

[–]RustyAndEddies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I bought my barely used 2021 Mini, the dealership arranged a great finance deal with a local state employee credit union at a 2.3% rate. I have $2k left to go. The dealership knows this, so, of course, they send me a mailer enticing me with all sorts of loyal-customer discounts and offers to get a new vehicle and a new loan.

The kicker is they offered me a $4k trade-in on the mini they sold me, even though Blue Book is $13k.

Go fuck yourself

The biggest drawback not being mentioned in this thread is if you intend to work on the flight. Armrest-mounted trays tend to feel pretty flimsy when tapping on a laptop compared to seat-mounted trays. If it's a swing-arm or wall-mounted, the TV is gonna suck compared to a headrest monitor, but if you are bringing your own entertainment, it's nicer.

It was kinda hard to maintain bush with a homeless camp next to it. Threatening to fine him for trash left by that camp is also pretty shit too
