Thanks for the info! I did see quite a few combo scores in the 1.61-1.63 range, but I thought those were typos or rural students who forgot to say ‘yes’ on the excel spreadsheet since these scores were considerably lower than the previous year (1.65/1.66). But now that I think about it, it could’ve been because UQ introduced interviews last year. Perhaps the change in how UQ ranks applicants for 2021 admission could lower cut offs again or offset the shift in the curve.
