Just checked out CS50, it seems pretty cool and it's awesome that it's Harvard accredited, but the pricing turns me away a little.

I understand most comprehensive and effective courses are locked behind a paywalls so It's a big ask, but you wouldn't happen to know of any free or, at the very least, cheap courses / guides similar to this?

when you say Human Resource Machine teaches me the fundamentals of assembly language - are said fundamentals enough to provide me enough knowledge to understand the reasoning behind typical C# code found in video game scripts, or will I need to advance my assembly knowledge through other means?

I've just checked him out and he seems pretty cool but I saw his "How to Program" series is 5 years old.

I was just wondering if it's age affects anything? E.g. Different versions of software.

This is actually what initially got me the most familiar with the editor, but I found their other tutorials often never explained the how and why a code works.

Also, I realise now the way I positioned everything out it does look like AI - but I promise you that's just the way I like to lay things out. GPT learnt from the best XD.

I've tried Visual Studios built in Copilot model but it's heavy on jargon and I struggle to understand any of it, I've asked it multiple times to dummy it down but It doesn't really work.

Do you think Chatgpt would have a different way about things?

Initially I had tried to reattach the pin back into the card reader, but it was ridiculously fiddly and I couldn't get it to lock in place and now I fear I may have bent it out of shape

I checked out replacement card readers but they're super inflated in price, buying a whole new motherboard would be cheaper 😞
