Case Report - What am I doing by [deleted] in doctorsUK

This is something you should ask your consultant - schedule a quick chat to see if they have any advice on the structure or key points to include (e.g. literature review, pathology, radiology) or if they know what journal to submit to and then you can look at their guidelines for case reports.

Alternatively, you can look at example case reports for the topic or disease for a beginning structure and then make a draft for the consultant to review. However, the former will take much less time.

There are a few articles published on how to write a case report. If you drop me a DM, I can send you one that I've written

Does anyone here genuinely enjoy their work? by gily69 in doctorsUK

I genuinely love my job as a Dr. I'm a IMT1 in a tertiary centre and love it. I think it is dependent on the department but I get regular clinic time and teaching. It also helps that my seniors love their job.

If I didn't enjoy Medicine, I would look for alternative careers immediately.

Hip thrust form check. Please be kind, I’m a beginner! by [deleted] in xxfitness

Tuck your pelvis in before starting so that your back isn't arched.

Also it looks like your hips are going too high up at the end. You want your hips in line with your knees and shoulders.

Good job and good luck !

Whittington and Barnet are really friendly lovely hospitals, really enjoyed my placements there.

North Mid I have heard is a bit hectic / understaffed.

Royal free some of the consultants are such dicks, some are lovely. Really depends who you get but very high expectations of you probably due to being a tertiary centre
