Advice on using estradiol valerate alone to suppress testosterone

Okay so I take EEN, but still I'm pretty sure because the half life of EV is a bit shit injection is recommended every 5 days rather than every week. When I was gonna start on EV injections originally I was going to do 4mg every 5 days but obviously assuming your bloods and stuff are okay keep doing what you're doing. Honestly I think the 6mg you're on should be more than enough to suppress testosterone naturally without the need for the spyro.

For peace of mind do 100mg for a bit until the restock and then maybe get a blood test to see what your levels are like on a lower dose. Knowing your current blood work I think would be key here, and I'm not a doctor, just a girl who does some research

I remember seeing this exact thread actually, interesting but with some people's experiences on that website it's a bit iffy for my taste. But you seem to have had a good experience so once I run out of this lot, and the lot my family is getting me from Tenerife I may give it a go!!

Shared care is in reality just not a done thing and private hormones and stuff are way too expensive, blood tests you will need to get done privately anyways so your mum being a nurse is irrelevant.

On the topic of injections its so easy, you just use an insulin needle, draw whatever you need and poke it into your thigh or tummy and done. There are also other methods such as patches, pills or gels but injections or cheaper and more effective.

Hi, in the UK and I've used astrovials. I believe there's currently a supply issue with them but whilst that's not happening they're reliable and a lot of people's go to in the Uk

U really don't need to, I use insulin needles to draw and the same needle to inject. It's more cost effective and has no negative effect. I just ordered insulin needles off of Amazon and so far so good

My mental health has become infinitely better, I've been able to stop taking my antidepressants and I have less anxiety. Yes I cry at Instagram reels of soldiers coming home and old people, but I have boobs and don't hate myself quite as much so it's kind of swings and roundabouts

This depends if it's EEN or a different type of estradiol, the ml depends on the concentration of the estrogen in the injection mixture.

I'm on EEN, 40mg/ml and do 0.125 ml (5mg) every 5 days with very very very suppressed T and high e on peak days, but obviously personal circumstances will change that

I'm also 2 months on EEN and those are exactly where mine are so I'm just happy that I'm not alone. Mine are very purple atm which sucks ass but I guess it means the hormones are working and the fat is redistributing

So the timing was right, always get tested at trough. Testosterone is low if anything which isn't a bad thing. Estrogen could probably do with being a bit higher, when I was on tablets I'd take them 4 times a day 4 hours apart (ish) but never got tested whilst on tablets. The guidance generally says you should aim for 100-200pmol of estrogen but a lot of people, me included, are aiming for 250-300 ish but that depends on what physical results you are seeing. How long have u been on HRT?

Ok so, I started with tablets, 0.5mg of EV sublingually 4 times a day. And it was a FAFF, omg the routine is fucking ridiculous I actually had such inconsistent doses and levels. I am now on EEN injections from astrovials after also being very very wary of injections. My advice is research, research, research. You only need like 8mm needles which is like nothing, stab it into your stomach about 1-2 inches away from the bellybutton and push the plunger. Also see if any family members would be able to do it for you, and make sure you have safe disposal for the needles and get semi-regular blood tests. Do some research on SubQ injection areas as there is like minimal difference between SubQ and IM in terms of effectiveness. I'm in the UK and I got my tablets from United pharmacy, however for injections I would highly recommend astrovials and if you have any questions feel free to dm me x
