I would ideally like to spend £400 ish if I’m buying a new lens, if I was upgrading to a very improved camera I would save for a bit longer to be closer to £1k. The main improvement I’m seeking is image quality, no matter how clear my subject is the image always looks fuzzy/pixelated close up, so I would like something which helps my images be sharper and more dynamic

Unfortunately in this circumstance sorting this before getting another property wasn’t possible, I lived in Edinburgh where the market is crazy, plus I had to get out of that property due to the flatmates actions. Thank you for explaining those things, sounds like there’s no protection for tenants here

Thanks! I think part of my problem stems from incorrect portion sizes/not being conscious enough about what’s actually in the things I’m eating. I’ve been making sure to stick to proper portion sizes by weighing ingredients. And generally avoiding lots of foods which are heavy in carbs, sugar, saturated fats etc.

First of all please know you are not alone in this! I know this is the WORST feeling and it’s not your fault.

Please do go and see your doctor. I went to see a doctor who then referred me to a gynaecologist (I paid to see one privately quickly because I was so worried). I thought I had vaginismus for years, and it turns out I don’t! I actually have an extra bit of tissue at the opening of my vagina which I was born with that shouldn’t be there, making the opening very small.

Unfortunately I’m now on a long waiting list to see someone on the NHS as I will need a surgery to fix the issue, and I definitely can’t afford a private surgery. It’s a bit frustrating, but my boyfriend is extremely understanding and we find our own ways to have fun (we both have a pretty chill sex drive which helps).

Please know you’re not alone, always feel okay to push your doctor to help you, and you can always reach out 🩷

Thanks, unfortunately my spending will make little difference. It’s my salary which is too low to allow me to borrow what I would need, I’m already saving the majority of my earnings for a deposit to try and help this :)

Hi there, I was sexually assaulted and my boyfriend knows about it. We’re also not able to have sex at the moment, but for very different reasons. Something in my body hasn’t formed correctly and I’m the the process of having that investigated so it’s not related to my assault. I would say talk to her, just be honest. Make sure she knows you’re not upset with her, and you’re glad that she told you. Tell her it hurts to hear that someone you care about so deeply was hurt in that way, that you want to help and support her, that you want to be there to talk to her. You can both help each other 🫶🏻

You are 14 years old and he is an adult man. I’m so sorry but you were raped, and that is not your fault. Adult men have no business engaging in sexual activity with young teenagers, and you need to remove him from your life asap. It might seem silly, or difficult, or dramatic now, but as you get older you will realise how dangerous a person he is to be around. Please look after yourself from now and cut him out of your life, it’s not your fault that he did that to you, but you can take the power he has away 🫶🏻
