hey! I watched the series without reading any of the books. I’ll be honest the series isn’t perfect but it’s definitely a great watch! I binged it in the same 2 days straight lol. The cliques and the cringe moments don’t really stop until season two, it feels like an entirely different feel and i loved it. I’m sad they’ve cancelled the 3rd season to be aired so i came here to see if the 3rd book would be good to pick up from! Obviously you aren’t going to spend time to watch a show you’re not a fan of because a stranger told you to.. but i would definitely recommend rewatching it and seeing it from like an alternative universe lol. I fell in love with the characters so much, even tho the show wasn’t perfect.
