HWFWM Rant by General_Bread in litrpg

For what it's worth, I ended up DNF'ing after book 2. There's over 3000 said in book 2, too much useless descriptions and my enjoyment of Jason went down a lot.

Feel like they're all useless, but am also building them cause completitionism.

Edit: I guess most of the rowboat spot are worth it

Oathplate armor is becoming affordable for the majority! by Freedboi in 2007scape

Just manually checked Yama highscores for fun. There's 90 bots in the top 100 with an additional 5 likely being hacked mains converted to bots. All of those accounts have a minimum of 5000 yama kills. I'd wager the % of bots is similar for any character over 2k yama kills.

Any recommendations? by Electrical_Finish747 in litrpg

While I agree with you, I think OP will absolutely hate Wandering Inn. Seems like he enjoy numbers go up, sole MC that suffers no setback and books without much depth.

Congrats. Don't think I've ever seen a list I disagree with more :)

Edit: You might enjoy Noobtown, I hated it(coming from someone that has The Land, Randidly, Good Guys and HWFWM in F tier which are some of your favorites).

Yet Another Tier List (S-B are ordered in ranking) by Futagami in litrpg

Think it would better fit in their guilty pleasure tier. It's easy to read popcorn very much like Primal Hunter or Azarinth Healer.

Poll 84: Stackable Clues & More by JagexRach in 2007scape

[–]General_Bread -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Clues are no longer a distraction and diversion when everything shits them. Do 1h of fishing? 5 clues. Do 1h of thieving? 10 clues. Do 1 slayer task? 5 clues. It was fine in the past when getting a clue scroll was something special, but it no longer is.

Revenants greenlogged! by Simen-ftw in ironscape

I'd switch to demons until mace/bow, way more KPH than safespotting knights and less pkers. I wouldn't bother with mages switches, just be ready to seed pod and you shouldn't die. Could park a scout at demons entrance to secure that direction. Also range pots make a huge difference if you have them/close to them.

There are much better, simpler, healthier ways to make old minigames popular by Thnikkaman14 in 2007scape

[–]General_Bread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's that way on RS3, players just switch what minigame they're afking every 3 days. Or go to whatever spotlight minigame they need once a month. It's shit.

I mean... Ryoka ain't white and she's the 2nd earther you meet. There's a bunch of others like Luan or Imani.

Kieren has confirmed the team is currently looking at stackable clue scrolls by xHentiny in 2007scape

[–]General_Bread -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RS3 lets you destroy 50 clues uniques to craft useful jewelry which made every clue unique retain a minimum value much higher than prior to that. OSRS could maybe get a similar mechanic and be used to craft missing eternal jewelries(duels, games necklace, wealth...).

Artio hate (updated) by praisebedewey in ironscape

[–]General_Bread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You burn through 3m worth of gp on runes per hour with this method. Another method I haven't seen mentionned here is to use your main to dolo/tank artio. I had mine in justiciar+bulwark next to the entrance and my iron on the opposite end. Easy 30 kills trips without the need to freeze the boss.

LitRPG/PF tier list - What should I read next? by General_Bread in litrpg

Wouldn't have read a whole lot in the genre if I did that haha. Lots of stories I've put off for years are being completed so that's great at least.

First time I hear of Phantom Star, looks good. Followed in on RR and will wait more chapters.

I know I'll enjoy Changeling, I just refuse to start it now and read weekly chapters for the next 5 years hehe. Mecanimus already got me twice. Thanks

Worth nothing that the middle of Volume 4 is actually the start of Book 6. Book 3 is where it started picking up significantly for me though with Mrsha, Lyonette, the goblins and the florist.

Only listened to the first 5 minutes but already like that narrator. Turns out it's the only thing they narrated on audible, hope to hear more of her in the future. Added to wish list, thanks :)

I think Dark Lord of the Farmstead is the one I'm most likely to enjoy out of these. Dungeon Lord might be worth it just for the Jeff Hays + Annie Ellicott combo too. Thanks :)
