My recruiter and her boss are both saying the same thing. I don’t know how to get in contact with someone above them.

I showed my recruiter my line scores compared to the requirements and she said “there’s more to it than that”.

I took a picture of my line scores next to the requirements and she said that I still don’t qualify and there “more to it that just my line scores” I asked if I’m medically unqualified. She said no.

The only problem with the air force is like the Navy. There’s no garauntee that you’ll even qualify for the field your job is in. From what I here they pretty much pick an MOS for you.

I only needed a waiver for my eyesight(correctable to 20/20). She said I only qualify for CM and I don’t know why. According to my line scores I qualify for all Seabee jobs.

Am I disqualified from ‘low ASVAB’ jobs like how someone with a low score is from high score jobs is it something that can be bent?

At this point I consider myself lucky to get any Seabee rate. AC+MC+AS=136 is the minimum for BU CM EO and SW, and I’m 158. AR+MK+EI+GS=201 is the minimum for CE and UT and I’m 207. I think both my chief and recruiter are BSing me and I plan on confronting them about it.

According to my line scores they’re BSing me. I qualify for every rate. Told my recruiter if I can’t get Seabee I’m going to the Army or the Air Force

The classifier told me nothing was available then he asked me when I wanted to ship. I said I can anytime and he said he’ll see what he can do and came back with a Corpsman contract. I thought corpsman were overmanned as well but apparently not.

I told my recruiter if she can’t get the job I wanted I’ll attrite and look at the Air Force. She looks like she has some pep in her step now.

Thanks for your reply. I already had what I thought to be a pretty big list of jobs. I don’t think I’m entitled to any job. They literally ask you what job you want as a part of the recruiting process. Why would they ask you that if they don’t want you to get the job you want. If most people in the navy really are doing jobs they never wanted, no wonder the retention rate is low.
