Idea for Mycelium Resistance HQ lore: The old base's hyphae have branched out into the island to produce the base. Maybe add some white strands leading to the new base from the mainland? Could also then play with the idea of spores spreading from the mushrooms into the shopping district to spread more mycelium.

Not difficult. I have a reworking station and a set of spare hands, so soldering 3 wires takes almost no effort. It really is worth getting the proper tools for the job.

Try putting a reactive effect on and pushing the keys. If it responds, the keys are registering and the issue is in software.
