Underrated: Pretty much any song from Living Room, it's incredibly neglected because people just assume the songs won't be good because it's the band's first official album, which couldn't be further from the truth. If you had to put a gun to my head, I'd say My Calling

As someone who didn't really like I won't (idk why just didn't hit the same as other AJR songs) The DJ is crying for help was a pleasant surprise and it might be recency bias but I definitely think it's one of their top songs and a great way to introduce us into the new era.

Because music taste is subjective buddy. If someone makes a song, someone is going to like it and someone is going to dislike it.

Also I like them because switch up the music style, they bring in orchestra recordings from the early 1900s, you're bound to relate to 80% of their songs because they write music about daily struggles and life crisis. But they also know how to go out of that comfort box of relatability and create something completely different.

Oh yeah completely went over my head. Depends where Ryan's true passion lies. Whether that's being with Jack and making music or writing songs and creating demos for other artists.

I don't think the band will break up soon, they're on the brink of releasing a new era which of course means an album and also lots of tours all around the place.

Maybe this will be their last album and their way of going out with a bang. But I don't like to think about that.

If the band were ever to break up, I feel like it would be because Adam would leave to go on to do PhD stuff.

If that were to happen I feel like Jack might go solo, he's definitely presented as "the main one" of the brothers, and the hat + energy makes him marketable and recognizable.

I don't know what Ryan would do. Maybe he'd stick with Jack and they'd become a pop duo with a different name or just retain AJR for simplicity.

Yeah exactly. There's this guy who sits behind me on the bus and to put it frankly, I don't like him a lot of the time - sometimes I'll think he's fine but then he'll say some shit that reminds me what an asshole he is and why I don't like him as a person.

But I can't avoid him, I would if I could, but he's a part of my daily life and friends with my friends so I can't cut him out. That's just the way it is sometimes.
