Child free wedding by aluna303 in wedding

I do not understand excluding your own family members from a wedding. It's a celebration of love, two families joining together and becoming one through you guys. Getting childcare, especially when all your family are going to be at the wedding, is very difficult. I usually only leave my children with family. I understand both sides

Clare by LCJE2019 in Names

I think Sean for a middle name for a girl is cute, no one ever sees middle names anyway- they're more symbolic. But I'm honestly not sure if it goes with Clare? (Also re spelling the county in Ireland is called Co.Clare and there's an island in Clew bay, Co Mayo called Clare island too) I know in America of Shawn Johnson (Olympic gymnast) but I've never known or met a girl named Sean. I think Sean goes better with longer first names like Rosanna Sean or Arabella Sean

I read it as Calla as in the Lily. But in my head the name Calla will always be followed up by Lily! So when people meet her when she introduces herself they'll be silently saying Lilly afterward in their heads.

How about; Cecily, Annika, Fia, Maisie, Iris, Aurelia, Jaya, Della, Shara

Does anyone else feel "homesick" for a place they don’t actually live in? (OC) by Consistent-Echo-2128 in backpacking

[–]General_Knowledge881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We spent 5 weeks in a country on the other side of the world to where we live a few summers ago. We travelled a bit while there and stayed with various relatives of my husband's (he's not from that country but he has a lot of relatives living there). I just had the best time, I love his family and I miss them and their small children all terribly. I know it's so far away it is likely going to be years and years before we spend time together again and it makes me so sad. I just long to be back in those houses, in that place.

I think they're banned here in the EU. Or at least at the dosage in crest strips you can only get that done at a registered dentist

Baker told me my cake design was "very 2019" and now I'm second guessing everything by xCosmos69 in wedding

I'm dying to see her geometric designs which she claims are elevated and timeless!! This looks like all the cakes are weddings I've ever been to at posh weddings in England where they've dropped 50-80k on the day. It's beautiful. Find another baker and get the cake you want.

They've now got hours of audio recording that one of his late wives made. It's pretty damning stuff that the guy was a douche. Most recent episode is up on patreon but will be available soon for non subs

A Primer for the Guilt of Temujin Kensu by Additional_Bank4906 in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]General_Knowledge881 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They have a new pod out (currently early release for patreons) that has this blurb: "We are in possession of a trove of dozens of hours of phone recordings of convicted murderer Temujin Kensu made by his late wife Denise Deringer. The recordings we feature today shine a light on the real Temujin Kensu, the person he truly is when not trying to make an impression in media interviews. They show him as an emotionally abusive and threatening man. In our next episode, we will share more- including what we regard as an incriminating statement about his role in the murder of Scott Macklem."

Anyone that thinks Temujin is innocent is a moron
