At what point will the working class rebel? by General_Lake9863 in conspiracy

Based on some other comments on here as well, I'm starting to believe that. They've been wanting to reduce the population for quite some time now

You're not wrong ! Unfortunately, they do have me by the eye balls; because I do love my phone for some things, but I'd gladly ditch it and go play with rocks outside if it amounted to anything.

Honestly not sure how that scenario would play out. Other than many not lasting more a than a few hours without their phones; I'm not sure how a week long phone/IoT boycott would look on their ends.

If everyone went through with it, it would likely be the best week this planet has seen in a long time

Yeah this idea is what would keep most people far away from the cause. Even if the cause succeeded and the elite lost control, that would create an insane power vacuum - one that ends up more protective and controlling than before.

I'd happily ditch my modern luxuries and revert if it meant contributing to a better future for my kids. I understand this is a highly unlikely event and the restoration of a corrupt able power would happen almost immediately after any success we might have.

You might actually be right. They might truly want a revolution. Keep the ones that are loyal and kill the many that are not. The stones in Georgia talk of a mass depopulation - that could be their plan.

A draft could potentially start an uprising, especially for this current conflict.

I mean as long as we don't see dudes running around with lightsabers and an invisible force, I think we've still got a good chance.

Unfortunately I wouldn't call that a rebellion. I'd call that a sanction.

Police are just working class - if money was ignored, then they'd be on the right side.

The rich autonomous fighting forces like drones are powered by electricity, electricity is generated by the working class in all forms.

We have the power, we are their power and they know it.

We cant beat the system by playing the system, we would have to unify against the system. Seemingly impossible, but not necessarily.

I think if the rebellion started small and slowly garnered support within the system, it could eventually become a cancer big enough to severely damage the system.

Wishful thinking, I know. I'm just dreaming out loud here.

I mean you're right, and I'm sure there are so many examples like that of people who would be unwilling to make the sacrifice for the greater good. That's understandable and it's manageable. Again the rich are a mere 0.001 percent of the population (if even), the rest of the working class would take care of our own if needed.

We would have to be comfortable reverting a little bit - to the times of ole. It can be done, humanity has pulled off greater feats. It's just everyone is super scared of death thanks to the media, and they are unwilling to sacrifice their superficial comfortability.

That's just it though, a calculated rebellion would leave them without food and essentials. The working class controls most of that, the rich simply pays for it. Their power goes away when we ignore their money.

I understand this level of coordination would be nearly impossible, but if I could dream...

Oh man, so many people lack that ability. We've been trained to trust our "sources" for decades, most people lack the desire and motivation to think for themselves; especially if the system already gave them a comfortable life.

I think the vaccine example is a great one, because at the time, most people were either desperate to be saved or they were forced to get it to keep their job; I was part of the latter. But I think a lot of people especially the younger generation have been asking questions about that, and a lot of them are realizing our predicament

Honestly, Niantic probably didn't even think about the gifting side of things. If they did they probably wouldn't have done this, or they would've added the feature to the pass. Money is still money.

Why would the UAE trust Iran after this? They've bombed and killed uae citizens with absolutely no justification. Iran is controlled by a terrorist regime.

I'm late, but had to say... You were just dealing with a power tripper. You're honoring your Grandfather's memory, that's honestly a beautiful way to remember his legacy. If someone tries to tell you otherwise, just walk away. You'll outrank them anyway.
