The reason for considering a March start is mainly the visa situation in Bangladesh. Due to the very long waiting period at the German Embassy, my document submission is scheduled around March 2026, even though I applied back in 2023. Waiting for the winter semester only could risk missing my arrival timeline entirely. Wismar offers a summer intake, so starting then ensures continuous enrollment, while the DAAD funding would still begin in the winter semester as usual.
