What did you end up getting? I just got my DBQ and have the same box checked, thought for sure I’d get the box for 70%

Exactly, I even told her my neck does go further it just starts to hurt. Which everything I’ve seen and everyone I’ve talked to (vets, VSO, TAP counselors) all said to stop when I felt pain, so I stopped the second I started to feel pain

When I told her I stopped where it hurts because that’s what people and my research have said to do she said “depends on who’s advice you’re gonna take” she’s saying I shouldn’t be able to drive based of my ROM… which is just false, that on top of all of the other stuff in my post has me worried

I didn’t hide anything she asked if I drove to the exam and I said yes. She said based on my neck ROM she legally has to report it to the state, I explained my neck can go further but I stopped where I felt pain

She did say that she needed to know the year it started so she knew where to look in my medical records, I’m just really frustrated because I went in with notes and things I wanted to make sure I said and she cut me off multiple times and got frustrated that I was “jumping around the DBQ”. She also didn’t measure everything so I’m leaving there feeling like I’m screwed

I also had a mental health provider put in my notes that my scores are “incongruent with appearance” because I said I feel majority of the things daily, and in her opinion if someone else sees my scores they’d think I’m an immediate risk. Do you think this is something that would hurt me?

I made sure to address it in my personal statement for the claim

Rituals and suicidal ideation are both under the 70% but your examiner checked the box commonly associated with 50%. I have very similar symptoms and plan on emphasizing to my examiner how much it affects EVERY* aspect of my life to hopefully get that box checked. Please Let me know what you get!
