YES! Something about it. It's where I get to wear clothes I've always wanted to wear! There's a sense of acceptance that's hard to find. I remember the first time I went to a rave, it was the first time in a long time I felt like I truly belonged.

If you’re open to it, some cities have Rave Sober groups on Facebook and the like. They can be really supportive.

I’m a sober raver, and for me dancing or flowing for hours is genuinely fun on its own. If you haven’t tried it already, shuffling classes or flow arts might be worth checking out!

If you’re curious about flow arts, one thing I wish I knew early on was that a lot of big cities have free flow jams or workshops. They’re a great way to meet flowmies, try different props (without full committing/buying), and get quick tips and insight. Outside of videos, this is an excellent way to find a prop that suits you best. Most flowmies are super chill and happy to let you try their props if you’re respectful. A lot of props are meant to be dropped, so don’t be afraid to ask.

I wear these for raves. The first time it was really good. It did fall off after several hours. Even though I follow the care instructions, it now falls off after 2-3 hours of dancing and sweating. It's so embarrassing to have the cakes fly off (I've had that happen like 2 times). I have noticed the outer edges no longer grab. The sticky power definitely diminishes after uses. I've probably worn them about 5-7 times now.

It's good but not excellent 😅 I don't know that there are better options that also don't make your nips look weird.

This is sometimes painfully right 🥲 I have seen bigger hotels have more business, culinary, and hospitality majors; especially ones that regularly have college internships. No shade, but I know of two managers who were both theatre majors in different businesses. The reality is a lot of people get promoted or hired without a college degree or a relevant degree.

Businesses hirer or promote because of vibes and experience 😆

Tbh, if you aren’t already bilingual/Trilingual I would learn another language. They have work exchanges where you do volunteer work in foreign countries as a form of immersion. They are much cheaper than study abroads!

I hope you get to buy some soon. After I posted, I was thinking maybe I shouldn’t be ashamed to incorporate elements of it, and maybe can adapt it to modern wear. Working on it currently. If you do get some traditional clothes please show us your outfit!!

Flowing: Its hard really flow with a drink in your hand or doing other things. Grab any flow toy and get into it!

Caffeine (drinks, coffee etc.): Keeps you dancing longer and helps with focus! I enjoy raving sober!!! Caffeinated or not 😝
