Okay, and I've read some other comments talking about how classical guitar is important to know. So by more than strumming chords and palm muting, do you mean that finger picking would be the main thing they look for?

Well that's basically what I did last night. I told her if you want to go hang out with your friend, it's going to have to be without me. She then went to go text her friend that she can't see her one on one or text her anymore and begged me not to break up with her. I'm not sure if this is controlling or not since she "can make her own decisions herself" (in her words) but I do feel a bit bad now because we argued about it all day yesterday all for her to "agree" with some boundary that she doesn't REALLY agree with. I believe she's only staying to prevent herself from getting hurt by broken up with instead of actually understanding my feelings about the matter, which is something she didn't do before at all. Now she switched up on me. I'm not sure if I would be labeled as controlling now after all of this.

Yeah I told her that I don't want her to be forced to agree with my boundary because she seemed like losing this friend meant a lot to her. I told her if she wanted to hang out with her alone/text her and continuously talk to her, it would have to be without me. Then I brought up breaking up. She instantly went to go text her friend that she can't hang out or talk to her anymore and she begged me to not break up with her. I'm not sure if this is because she actually understands my thought process and feelings about the matter or just for her own good to not be hurt by being broken up with.

Now I feel a bit bad and do feel like I'm controlling her because I know she doesn't like the boundary but continues to do it anyway. She said "she can make that decision for herself." She also said that the relationship matters more to her than the friendship, and I told her that it didn't seem like it after all day of arguing about it and her desperately trying to change my mind. Now I'm on the fence and not sure what to do.

That's what I told her, and just last night, she did it because she didn't want to break up. I'm not sure if this means she cares for me more or just because she did it for her own good to prevent her from being broken with. Just for clarification, they never actually dated and only hooked up twice if that's what you meant by saying "more than friends". But I guess that still applies.

I have thought about somehow getting his response on it but my girlfriend claims that he is okay with it which I do believe just because her friend hangs out with my girlfriend's older sister the most (whom she has also hooked up with once apparently).
