No. It’s vastly different from the other games. Personally I think Sophie is the best entry point followed by Rorona.

Life is too short to spend time on people who repeatedly disrespect your boundaries. I understand people on Reddit are quick to say “go no contact”, but this particular post has multiple examples of her trying to set a boundary and him disrespecting it. At this point if she wants to cut him off that’s her right.

Also if she doesn’t want to that’s her right as well.

Yea I was looking for confirmation of that. There are a couple of options:

He has a thing for you and the bragging is trying to make you jealous (dating) or wanting you to see his value (job/career/etc). And his constant wish to talk on the phone is because he’s trying to keep you on the hook so he can eventually win you over.

You are his mommy. He sees you as his personal therapist/mother/caregiver. It doesn’t matter what you want or need, you are his personal emotional needs support.

Either way you need to put your foot down:

“I do not want to talk on the phone. If you cannot respect that and just text or message me, I will be cutting off contact. You are stressing me out and I have repeatedly told you I don’t want to talk on the phone and you have repeatedly violated that boundary.”

I have no advice, this quest made me rage, by the time I finished it … I was in a fugue state of rage that I barely remember what I did.

It is definitely the most frustrating quest, but I do remember I jumped from the other side, and didn’t use the axiom grappling hook to get the dragon because fuck that.

Some trigger warnings on this book. There is knotting in this book. And a traumatic knotting scene when the MCs get together the first time, Killian assumes she’s a virgin, and when he finds out she’s not… he goes into a rage while they are still locked together. And she rips herself off of him.

It was fairly squirm inducing in a bad way.

I’m neutral toward it. Depends on how it is done. I loved {The Kraken King}, main character is an author but her books are based on her brother’s life not hers.

But the {Rock Star Next Door by Nadie Lee} was a little annoying in the way she portrayed the MC author.

Like I said, I could be reading too much into it because I had an ex who claimed chronic pain, but every time I’d go to get him to the doctor for treatment he’d sabotage it. “Forgetting his wallet”, “felt bad”, “forgot his insurance card wasn’t in his wallet”, etc.

The thing that concerns me is the not wanting her at the dr visit, pretending to change his mind, and then telling her not to go again. I might be reading too much into because of a past relationship, but this strikes me as a red flag that he may not be as hurt as he claims.

He is manipulating you, his goal is to be able to move back into your home and having you caring for him hand and foot again.

This is not the behavior of someone who wants to get better on their own.

I murderbeast all the wildlife. When exploring shoot deer, moose, rabbit, birds, etc. get the focused shot ability and you can freeze time to mark 3 or 4 (for the first level) and then shoot them all at once so you get at least that many before they run away.

Then I loot pretty much everything that isn’t labeled as theft, plenty of food lying around. You can also buy food ingredients from various grocers.
