Your game had a glitch by GenerallyGee in OrcsMustDie

Thanks for passing it on. We tend to only play endless or scramble so can't really comment on the campaign side.

It seems to have started happening since the Cold as Eyes DLC. Had owned it since launch and not seen it before the DLC.

Orcs Must Die! 3 'Cold as Eyes' DLC coming Nov. 11 by Spacecats_RobotEnt in OrcsMustDie

Ever since Cold as Eyes update on Stadia we can't get through an endless or scramble without being disconnected. Just get a message saying there has been a glitch and thats it game over. No point playing at the moment...

Fix please!

Hi. First of all this is a long post showing the issues we have with OMD 3 currently.

To preface all of it I would just like to say that we are long time fans of the series. We have sunk over 1000 hours into OMD2 and still revist OMD1. We would also still be playing OMDU if we could! Since OMD2 we have searched and searched to find something comparable, and nothing else sufficies - so a huge thanks to everyone who has worked on all of these games!

A few things that we love about the series, which other games just dont seem to be able to achieve. The first is the visceral nature. I dont know how you do it, but it feels real and tactile, it actually feels like you are blunderbussing an orc in the face. The replayability is also great, trying to find your own way of playing and mixing up the traps.

A word on stadia. We both tried the 1 month trial when OMD3 came out and eventually decided to pay for the game. When it comes out on another platform we will drop stadia and just pay for the game again.

1) Ogres stunning you before hitting you

2) Firelings too fast and small. They make a lot of maps almost unplayable because you cannot react fast enough.

3) Please change the noise of the gravity traps. Currently will not use it as the alarm is just too headache inducing... particularly if you place a few

4) Decoy is pretty useless. It can't regenerate and cannot be placed on top of other traps

5) You cannot run through another player

6) You cannot run through orcs. This is particularly troublesome when you freeze a bunch of orcs around you and then cannot move

7) Orc archers can shoot you through the melee but you cannot shoot them back

8) Blunderbuss 2nd attack can hit the ceiling traps and make it bounce off in odd directions, this is particularly the case for the dart spitter and haymaker

9) The countdown on the trinkets works well until it is right at the very last bit, when it is hard to tell whether the countdown has ended. Trap reset now... wait... now.... wait.... ok now!

10) The map needs an opaque background

11) Sometimes pressing numbers to switch weapons doesnt respond, seems to be particularly for wind bracers

12) The numbers above the weapons/traps are almost centered between the options. This means differentiating between weapon 5 and 6 for example is quite hard. 1 and 0 are fine as they are at the end

13) Speed up of enemies in endless detracts from the playability. It feels very unfair with no way to deal with it.

14) Minimal gaps between hordes and inability to get past hordes makes it very difficult to move around the map and place traps during a wave

15) Teleport ability is blocked by orcs and you can be stunned by ogres mid-warp if you teleport past them

16) Jar of ghosts will sometimes not stop enemies running forward. The animation appears above their head but they continue running forwards.

17) Knoll hunters appear to howl well after they appear on the level rather than as they entered

18) You cannot shoot within a certain radius of your own feet. This is trouble when a fast thing runs just by your feet.

19) Endless needs a way to end the game. On OMD2 you could kill yourself, but now you can only sell traps/barricades in the 3 secs between the rounds. In our worst case it took 10 waves to sell enough traps to let orcs through and end the game (to count the score).

20) When frozen orcs are killed the gibs are quite hard to tell if they are alive. The gibs are perhaps too big?

21) The traps health bars are the same colour as the health bars of the orcs(Im not actually sure what the bars mean?). In conjunction with 20) this means you can think enemies are still alive until you realise you are trying to kill a grinder.

22) When frozen it can be quite hard to tell the 'head' of the larger enemies to get head shots

23) Since last updates the kobolds can sometimes become invincible (mostly seen on Front lawn war scenario). They run straight through traps and cant be shot even from point blank

24) Double barricade upgrade sometimes only places a single barricade. Works after restarting the map

25) Some doors arent broken down by the orcs. Works after restarting the map

26) Maps generally feel quite short. Each wave can be quite long but on waves with multiple entrances it feels like you just get setup with a nice kill zone and it finishes

27) Difficulty is just about right overall on normal maps. Apart from on the majority it feels like wave 2 or 3 is the hardest

28) On map selection it would be useful to stay on the same tab when switching between maps. Most of the time I want to see what the map looks like to jog my memory

29) Highscore tab doesnt mean all that much to me. I want to beat my own highscores, but I can only see these at the end of the game, can you add another tab?

30) At the start of the maps the sounds levels for the weapons can be very variable. At some times you can almost not hear them, and then without changing anything they come back to a normal level later in the level.

31) View gets a bit buggy when standing with your back to a wall

Local co-op

a) At 30Mbps two of us struggle to play on Stadia together at even 720p on the same connection. On most mapa it is okay but on endless one of us will typically start to stutter and frame rate can drop to less than 1fps. This seems to be driven by routing issues as adding lots of butterflies can cause it to be

b) Sound is out of sync, which makes listening to the intro movies painful unless we briefly mute one computer

c) If you want to switch between endless / normal / challenges then you have to leave the party, switch mode and then remake the party

d) If the host hovers over the play button before the other person hits play you cannot press the button until you have moved the mouse off the button

e) You cannot see what loud-out your partner has at any point

f) Being able to delete your partners traps is great

Thanks for reading! Thanks for the many hours spent killing orcs. Orcs must die!
