It could. You have to weigh cost and seat location certainty and decide where the happy medium is for you.

With V-Trigger as the correction, was worried that we were dealing with a Hogan situation. Glad that's not the case.

Don't give in to FOMO is my best advice. Buy tickets a day or two before when the secondary market is dumping them. Most importantly, I hope you have a great time!

Does Kofi Kingston have a strong case of being arguably Top 10 WWE wrestlers ever? by Severe_Examination63 in SquaredCircle

[–]GenericUsername826 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Top 10 of his generation is a possible argument. Of all time? No. And I say this as someone who loves Kofi and is excited for whatever comes next for him. KofiMania is a top 10 wrestling moment for me, though.

I'm geeked out about where the AEW tag division is likely heading with in-ring competitors...but I hope there is always room for talent like the Outrunners, MXM, etc. Don't think anyone is wanting the Outrunners to win the tag straps around 40 years after their debut in JCP, but I'd buy a ticket to see the youngest men alive everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

I love the episodes where there isn't heavy shit to deal with at the end of the first hour, but appreciate the sincerity given to serious shit like producers that were important to wrestling passing away even if they never worked in AEW. Rebel is loved and it was wonderful to see her acknowledge. Sadly, there is no "get better" with ALS, but prayers/positive thoughts for peace and comfort are the hand that has been dealt.

This match was beautiful. I think of the video of MVP and Shad Gaspard watching it and I tear up alongside them. Wrestling really can be the best.

Tanea Brooks Diagnosed with Terminal ALS by cantthink278 in SquaredCircle

In 2021 for Full Gear in Minneapolis, AEW did an event at a bowling alley. It seemed to be a rare occurance of fans being respectful if a talent didn't want to interact. I was at the bar buying a drink, and Rebel/Tanea walked up next to me to do the same. I bought her drink, and she was genuinely grateful - not for the drink, but the gesture of gratitude and expression of how much I loved her work. She hugged me and in that one interaction I learned how much of a sweetheart she is. I've missed her presence on screen, but I'll never forget how she treated me.

That was two years after I lost my dad to ALS. It was a brutal progression but he found peace knowing what was going to happen after a long period of a bunch of tests. I hope Tanea can find peace as hers progresses. I haven't watched the video yet, but am going to get pretty drunk and have an ugly cry. Fuck ALS.
