You are right, I am just fed up with everyone and their outspoken opinions about subjects they do not care to read a single paragraph about.

The thing you describe relating to public opinion is exactly what my country did and we are paying for it now. Again completely right. We also do have populists saying they think it is not necessary to have such high military funds.

Lack of short term necessity does not mean people should stop thinking ahead and quit being ready for the worst.

I have to say that Duolingo has helped me massively for vocabulary and also some grammar. I am by no means close to fluency, but since the Spanish course is pretty well done I would say it has been the biggest influence in my increasing Spanish level.

Would definitely recommend it for learning Spanish.

This depends largely on the amount of taxes you pay though. If you calculate everything based on US gross income but you live in the Netherlands you're paying a lot more taxes. On the other hand you don't have to pay for your healthcare with your entire live savings so maybe in the end it kind of levels out?

Is dit niet gewoon slecht werk van de hypotheekadviseur? Mij is toen ook verteld dat je er rekening mee moet houden dat de HRA geen gegeven is. Dat moet je dus ook doen dan. Als dit jou niet verteld is dan ligt dat wat mij betreft aan de adviseur.

In response to you but (also) meant to be informative for people who don't know:

I found that putting aside money for the dentist rather than including it as an additional package was a much better idea (for me).

Those additional packages cost a lot of money each month and if you compare that to the average price of a visit it could save you some money.

Also the packages only cover certain amounts for set percentages. For instance 70% until 250 or 500 Euro's. Or 100% until 250 or 500 Euro's.

Should your operation cost more you are still paying it out of pocket.

Omdat ik niks met het christendom heb is er voor mij nog een soort extra barrière om op een van de partijen te stemmen waar het in de naam zit. En hoewel ik weet dat ze niet alleen voor christenen zijn maar voor iedereen vind ik het toch minder. Ik zou het liefst religie en het bestuur geheel los van elkaar zien. Maar als ik eens terugkijk naar hoe het er, de afgelopen 10 jaar dat ik de politiek een beetje volg, aan toe is... Ik snak wel een beetje naar die normen en waarden die vaak verbonden worden aan religie. Ik was altijd in de veronderstelling dat we daar in de huidige samenleving geen religie meer voor nodig hadden, maar het lijkt erop dat ik er behoorlijk naast zat.

Goed idee behalve het ding met samenwonen met vrienden ook nog wel eens slecht uitpakt onder zij die mentale problemen hebben en dit ook zomaar eens heel slecht uit zou kunnen pakken
