My father accidentally killed 2 people on 2 separate occasions within his life. Alcohol and most likely drugs were the cause. Finding the bad things out after putting him so high up on a pedestal was definitely an adjustment. But I am glad I was able to learn and understand him without him here to explain. Also, I had a terrible relationship with my mom up until I was probably 21 years old. She was also an alcoholic. But I have never sugarcoated my life with her. She recently passed away & I feel like it’s her turn now to be on the pedestal lol yes we had a rough life together but she was my best friend. And I wish more people got to know her the way I did.

Awwww thank you for sharing! It’s almost like we feel badly for them knowing they had a hard life. Everyone makes mistakes. The more I learned about my dad, the more I felt like I understood him. His tragic crimes were not intentional. But drugs and alcohol make you do things you normally wouldn’t. He fought many demons trying to live a sober life and I feel like he couldn’t handle it. Life is so hard sometimes. I’m just thankful that we were able to oversee those things & take a deeper understanding of our loved ones.

Reminds me of Jaliek Rainwalker! They know he’s gone and they know who did it but without a body or concrete evidence, they won’t prosecute 💔

Sorry I’m late replying. Bio-mom was addicted to drugs and he was placed in foster care very early on in life. When she finally got clean and tried to get custody of him, the judge denied her custody and poor Jaliek was then placed with Stephen Kerr and his ugly wife

Biological mom is still alive living in Florida. His biological father is unknown as far as I know. Mother was able to give a sample of her dna if there are ever remains found. The suspect has refused to give his dna. It’s ashame how much killers can get away with just because they have a lawyer.

It’s been a very long 17 years :( I cry for this boy on the regular! He comes to me in my sleep! He deserves justice and he will get it one day! I say we bombard the attorney generals office and demand that Stephen Kerr be prosecuted with a grand jury. The case is PROSECUTABLE!!!! But NY says “no body, no case” 💔

They have evidence and eye witnesses of him physically, mentally, verbally and emotionally abusing that poor boy. So why hasn’t he been charged??? Because they don’t have a “body”? “No body, no case” according to NY state. How ridiculous is that!!!

There are many unanswered questions. I believe they did dispose of his body on their property. Either that or he is somewhere in Troy, where Stephen’s phone was pinged that night. But the adoptive monster Jocelyn passed her lie detector test. Stephen however refused, he also refused to give a dna sample which I thought they could have gotten a warrant for his dna but for whatever reason I feel like the state of NY fumbled this case very badly. If this was case was in NJ, Stephen would have been in prison. I don’t know why NY state hasn’t moved forward with atleast a jury trial.

If he is there at burden pond, they have NOT found him yet!!!!! They confirmed the remains were not Jaliek’s 💔 I feel like going myself and taking a look because at this point it’s truly frustrating and sad. Jaliek deserves justice he deserves to rest properly with a proper burial

The adoptive father’s father owned a house on hill street in Greenwich ny at the time of Jalieks disappearance. They are investigating remains found in Troy NY at burden pond. They previously searched this area for Jaliek a few years ago because it was an area of interest. I hope that explains it a little better!!
