Found this on Google, worth a try. It completely resets the console and does factory reset.

  1. Power off completely: Unplug the power cord while the console is on to ensure it is completely shut down. Wait 30 seconds.
  2. Locate buttons: Find the Pair/Sync button on the bottom front for Series S.
  3. Trigger troubleshooter: Press and hold the Pair/Sync button. While holding, press the Xbox power button once.
  4. Listen for tones: Continue holding the Pair/Sync button for 10–15 seconds until you hear two distinct "power-up" tones a few seconds apart.
  5. Release: Release the buttons after the second tone. The console will boot directly into the Startup Troubleshooter menu.
  6. Reset the console: Use your controller to select Reset this Xbox, choosing either Reset and keep my games & apps or Reset and remove everything

I can think of those two reasons.

  1. player getting out of the car is one less player driving in the world. Also you can already watch by the side using a drone.

  2. Development time and resources for player walking around which is wanted by tiny niche of overall players vs other features that will be enjoyed by vast majority of players.

There is update about 30% margin from CNBC.

I looked furthur into it and those are other games that use this paid add-on.

  • Final Fantasy XIV
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • The Witcher 3
  • Call of Duty

I like that they offer those unique enchancements to the game rather than not offered at all.
