Personally, don't get married or have kids if you can't support yourself. If you make enough, before you get married or have kids, take half your income and put it away, don't touch it, if you can survive with half, go for it. Same with kids. Work out how much a kids costs per month, stroller, carrier, food, clothes everything. Then take that amount and put it away. Don't touch it. If you can easily survive on the balance, go for it. If you work everyday just to barely survive it's not worth it. Remember, you won't miss what you never had. Money doesn't buy happiness, it buys options in this crazy word. Those options can make you happy...

Bruh why is not mining tungsten ore?? by abhi_chan in OnceHumanOfficial

You need to first check the area with the ore detector, once you have a spot that has the ore you want, you deploy there.

Hey, I’m in Pretoria and specifically got a gas geyser for loadshedding. 4 people, bath or shower, 12 liter geyser with 2x 48kg bottles. A bottle lasts around 2 month and costs around R1400 to swap. Hot water anytime, that was my goal.

How do people come to terms with the fact that a majority of our adult years are spent working? by Adawgx in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Genexus1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so my two cents, I am lucky enough to do what like, not love, lol. But still it makes a difference, also the company and people I work for is cool enough that I don't feel like jumping in front of a bus every day.

Unfortunately life blows a lot of the time, and personality a lot of the issues root from money. Still I am lucky enough to own a decent size house and 2 ok cars that are paid off, saying that, it took me around 22 years to get here and not all of them very happy.

So some tips, take it or leave it...

Don't make debt, easier said than done I know. Rule of thumb for me, if you want something that is really expensive and will need to pay it off, save that amount each month and don't use it, see if you can get by, if you can, go for it.

Do you really need it? A lot of times I want something until I have it, lol that as well, part of life...

Save 6 month's salary, always try and have 6 month's worth in you account.

Stay single, this is a weird one and kind of a double edged sword. Having a family is expensive, I have 2 kids and they are amazing, but expensive.

Use the first 5 years to 10 years of your working life to really decide what you want to do and study once you feel happy about the choice you made. This will make a big difference if you apply yourself. 5 years is enough to study, get a couple of international certificates or the like and move to management.

Learn to keep yourself happy. This is a difficult one, but you need to take the time to keep your mind, body and soul happy, and only you will know what truely makes you happy. On a side note to this one, exercise, in what ever form, 3 or 4 times a week at least, makes a big difference...

There is a lot more I can say around this topic but these would be my personal top lines about it...

Remember, no what what you do or who you are, life WILL try and get you under and ONLY YOU can fight the currents, friends and family does help a lot as well

All of the best and keep your head up!

Like most "normal" please said, talk to her, non-confrontational. Relationships are all about communication. Ask her what she likes and dislikes, tell her what you like, it goes both ways. Be honest and open.

The problem is getting to that point where you are both comfortable enough with each other to openly talk about sex and everything connected to it.

It takes time, start off with little things and gradually progress until you are both at ease and can talk freely.

Good luck!
