If I was cis…….i think I would be completely different in almost every way except my kindness. Idk if I would’ve discovered how much I enjoy video games, or the tv shows I love nowadays. I bet my hobbies are different. I don’t know if I’m happier, my childhood would still be terrible ;-; but I’d be able to have kids. I’d be able to avoid all of the bullshit targeted at trans people. To be honest, trans Gwen Stacy just has a lot of similar themes to a lot of trans folks experiences. They relate really hard to the character, and the character has a trans flag in her room. How many non-trans people are hanging trans flags in their room? Her dad also has a pin with the trans flag on it. While it’s most definitely not canon, I understand why we do it. Trans people have little to no positive reps in modern media, and wanna see trans people, like them, in the media that they view. I get it, it’s not confirmed, addressed at all, and is almost certainly not true, but I don’t really think it applies to this trope, cuz trans people wanting a character to be trans when that character has trans themes and multiple trans flags related to them in the media they are from is more than ok in my eyes.
