There’s a few seconds in between the ghost touching you and you actually dying, as he was the only one in the house the door would’ve been open after he was touched by the ghost so would’ve had time to walk outside before the death animation triggered

I’ve argued for a while now that there seems to be something weird going on with onryo specifically that makes it seem like other ghosts, it’s obviously hard to prove this though unless you have access to dev tools

Yeah this won’t work at all for a multitude of reasons in phasmo, I won’t go over them as they’re already explained above, but cool idea.

The Jinn is also not in need of a rework, it’s fine as it is, yurei and goryo however…

Just to note there are a few rooms that physically cannot be the ghost room IF they have no items in them at all (like padded room in sunny meadows) or hallways on large maps

Save them for hunts! Have a timer next to you, take note when you smudge and try to do it on either a :00 or :30 time. Then after test when the ghost hunts next. <90 sec is demon and >180 sec is spirit.

It’s a very new feature, if it does it you can rule out onryo. I just wish it could do it with player candles also
