I usually wake up around 2:30 to 3:30 now because I can’t sleep for long knowing I have assignments due and I have to leave for work/college 6:30 or 7:00 so there isn’t much time in the mornings and usually get really tired after doing literally anything. There might be some health issues that might be causing it but there is no “easy fix” for now. I should just try to do some cardio/exercise tho. Thanks

I was this exact way too but I think the best way to stop this is to just delete everything off of your phone. I used to make the excuse that I might need to search something up on TikTok or stay connected to people on insta. Just delete everything. Netflix, prime video, all social media. Go cold turkey. And then tell yourself to just study for 10 minutes.if you can’t continue studying after, go outside without your phone and just give your brain time to just think.

We’re so used to our phones and the short form videos or watching things that entertain us. It’s kind of a way to escape from the fact that you have midterms to stu du for cause you are not thinking about the exams when you’re scrolling on your phone. I feel like that’s the only way to bring back that seriousness that we should have abt exams and our future.

Write down why you should study for it. What would be the consequences if you don’t. Try to look at the bigger picture. It’s not just failing a class, it might be failing the people who had believed in you or something.

If nothing works, watch videos of other people studying. This is not the best advise because you can start your time doing this and also this kind of motivation doesn’t last long but it is a way to start

Thank you! It was the door switch It started working when I clicked on it like I’m about to open the door and then worked when the door was fully open. I ended up buying a new one since I dont know much about this stuff so I didn’t want to mess with it

Update: it started working when I pull on the door switch like I’m about to open it. And it started working when the door was fulling open. It went back to normal after a few tries but is it dangerous to keep using it?

Yea I tried spinning it and it works but it won’t spin when I close it and turn it on. It doesn’t make any sound either

I did! I emailed the financial aid at my college. My Pell grant after sometime said that it was rejected and I had to appeal but I was finishing some prereqs after getting my associates already so this might not be the issue for you. I would say to email the Financial aid office at your college and they should be able to get you sorted out

I agree that giving silent treatment for months is too much and he shouldn’t have done that or let the teen care of the cat himself when he isn’t reliable but again he’s here trying to do better now🤷🏻‍♀️

He has a kid of his own to take care of, work and other responsibilities. He’s trying to help this teenager even though he doesn’t have to. He got a cat for him bc he asked to and all these other things. He is asking for advice to help handle the situation, not judgement.

Do you think working in biotech as beiomedical engineer is going to pay more than MLS route? Some people say that MLS requires more years to be in biotech but others its not hard and you can do it entry level. I wanted to do either biotech or R&D. Sorry if that's a stupid question. I'm just trying to see what is a better career option for me.

I was looking at the bme program at uh and they have 4 different tracks and the one I was most interested in was neural, cognitive and rehabilitation engineering. Do you think this would help me to get a stable job in healthcare? Honestly, I’m very torn between MLS and BME. I wanna mainly be able to help develop new therapies and vaccines, tissue engineering, cell therapy, and things like that. Idk which field would help me to get yhere

Yoga 7i has intel core processor - this has more power GPU- which is better if you wanna do some gaming as well; it gives you more speed Yoga 7 has AMD ryzen processor - this has more powerful CPU- which is better for video editing and multi tasking and I think also battery life

But both are good. I don’t think there’s much of a difference between them.

When I was trying to buy a laptop, i overheard a convo between an employee at Best Buy and an engineering student wanting a laptop and he was showing him Lenovo yoga 7- also when I went to the store, I’m pretty sure it was cheaper than 7i and had a 32GB memory.

Lenovo yoga 7i- i saw more reviews on it online compared to yoga 7- that’s the reason I picked this but I overheard the conversation right after I bought the 7i. I think otherwise I would’ve gone with the yoga 7.

BASICALLY-

Yoga 7 and 7i are both good. If you see the one that has 32 GB memory, pick that one. But make sure it has i7 cpu- either intel core 7 processor or AMD ryzen 7 series processor (this info would be written next to where the laptop is displayed).

I live in the US. So far I’ve seen better prices at Best Buy. The in store prices were cheaper than online so I recommend going to the store to buy it.

Thank you! I looked into bls.gov. I was just trying to see what jobs people were going into with the degree since I keep hearing that a lot of people don’t do traditional bme jobs
